Updated my Poco X3 NFC last night, 12.0.8 > 12.5.
Very nice update, it was lagging a bit at first but after a couple of reboots it's now running very smooth. Need to use system launcher if you want full screen gestures, but it's actually a decent launcher with good customization, I don't mind using this as opposed to Nova.
Much better than the first A11 update for this phone, fantastic work to the team!
As far as I know, it is due to the tight integration of gestures in the MIUI Launcher in A11 (maybe for the control center) . But it is not like Xiaomi has gone in great length explaining the details and the impact of the changes...Nice update for me as well but this bit puzzles me. Why no full screen gestures with alternative launcher? Im really digging Niagara and it is a pain having to chose Niagara or gestures. Do you know why this happens or any workaround?.
Thanks in advance
I will have a look, thank you!As far as I know, it is due to the tight integration of gestures in the MIUI Launcher in A11 (maybe for the control center) . But it is not like Xiaomi has gone in great length explaining the details and the impact of the changes...
There are a few workarounds explained in the forum. Look for "gestures" in search, I remember the name of an app called Fluid gestures among the solutions.
POCO X3 NFC (surya) got its first A11 update on June, 8th 2021.The graphics are not updated or is there still no A11 on surya?
Any recovery should be fine but it's always better if it supports Android 11 Data decryption. Is latest orangefox miatoll ok, or should I use another recovery for Joyeuse/miatoll to flash eu roms?
I am unable to access the build, it says it has been removed.Any recovery should be fine but it's always better if it supports Android 11 Data decryption.
Latest OrangeFox for "joyeuse" should be this one => https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=1494312469758637289

Redmi Note 9 Pro Global (EU) = "joyeuse" board name (codename). Please help, in the list of supported devices I do not see that there is a xiaomi redmi note 9 pro, is it safe to use this rom on my xiaomi redmi note 9 pro eu? Thanks
Thank you dear friend.Redmi Note 9 Pro Global (EU) = "joyeuse" board name (codename).
Redmi Note 7 - lavender:
When I take a picture with MIUI camera, it freezes and crashes. Video or portrait mode are okay, though.
Furthermore, when I add a picture in my Favorites (through Gallery), the heart-icon disappears.
Important: yesterday I faced a weird bug: the phone was keeping saying the proximity sensor was activated even though it actually wasn't. I had to reboot the phone.
P.S. Do you think battery life is better with stable 12.5 or with beta 12.3.24/25?
EDIT: Honestly the phone feels a lot smoother now in general? Wonder if there's some weird memory leak for having the full screen indicator there.
