Not fair... to quick for my old fingers! LOLPhones with MediaTek are not supported by the xiaomi.eu team
Hi guys. I got a quick question regarding MIUI update on Mi Mix2S. Im currently using the last beta version which is MIUI 12.1 WEEKLY 20.9.4 Beta dated back on September 2020. Based on my quick search i found that the latest stable version is xiaomi.eu_multi_MIMix2S_V12.0.3.0.QDGCNXM_v12-10.zip on April 2021. I want to know which one has the latest update and more feature. Thanks.
What? Where did you take that nonsense from?Hello, Redmi Note 10 has two codenames:
sunny = India-exclusive model of the phone
mojito = Global/International model of the phone
Main difference between these models is about bands frequency.
It was a bad assomption... and thanks for these info. What? Where did you take that nonsense from?
sunny (K7A) is an international model without NFC.
mojito (K7AN) was supposed to be an NFC model, according to the project ID suffix "N", but seems to have been cancelled.
Anyway, mojito doesn't actually exist and is simply the base of the ROM for sunny.
It's safer flashing via TWRP than via fastboot, yes.
ahm I can use TWRP even it's not official? sunny TWRP?Hello, Redmi Note 10 has two codenames:
sunny =India-exclusive model of the phone
(EDIT: sunny = Global/International model of the phone, without NFC support)
mojito =Global/International model of the phone
(EDIT: mojito = Not released model of the phone, with NFC support)
EDIT: Edited/corrected infos, thanks to @Igor Eisberg

for redmi note 10?
Don't use powershell, use cmd. Download the fastboot version rom, 12.5.1, boot into fastboot, use the automatic .bat and let it install itself. Boot the phone, set a pin or pattern so u can decrypt data in twrp, boot into fastboot and fastboot boot the twrp img. After that, update to the latest version of xiaomi.eu via twrp.Hello,
I'm sorry if I reply here but I'm asking you why you are the oldest user of the group and I think you have the right solution to my particular problem.
I hope I'm not intrusive.
I followed all your simple guide but after the installation (via TWRP) of the stable miu12 on my little F3 the phone is back in FASTBOOT and following the restart of the TWRP (from Powershell) it tells me that I have no system.
Never happened with the many other xiaomi that I have owned.
I tried to follow other guides posted here but the Poco F3 does not install any Eu roms (even using usb-otg) and does not even start the original rom.
What do you advise me to do?
Thank you
Go wonder on the official Xiaomi forums, this is not our problem, rather Xiaomi's decision, same as with Mi 8 and probably every Android 10 device. Why didn't you enable the new volume panel and the new power menu in the stable version for lavender? Like you did in the beta version
Edit: I don't mean to sound ungrateful I'm just wondering

I'm just saying that you enabled this features in the beta version why didn't you enabled it in the stable version?Go wonder on the official Xiaomi forums, this is not our problem, rather Xiaomi's decision, same as with Mi 8 and probably every Android 10 device.
1) Because Stable ROMs are not experimental.I'm just saying that you enabled this features in the beta version why didn't you enabled it in the stable version?

Ok thanks for replying and thanks for this great ROM1) Because Stable ROMs are not experimental.
2) Because the new power menu doesn't work correctly on Android 10.
3) Because it's not really a problem at all.
