Is the redmi 1s multi lang ROM latest version -
miuiandroid_multi_armani_JHCCNBD24.0_jb-4.3.zip ? This is what I have flashed as of now.

I have faced battery drain issues. Anyone else have had similar problems?

You said that the Tegra 4 MI3 would no longer be supported since this release, but there is no mention in the notes. Also: would it be a temporary thing or can we expect a solution for the deodex problem?

Thank you

not for this week... we have still same deodex errors so we need more time to investigate issues..

thanks, but when I flashed the zip file I mentioned, on my redmi 1s it shows as : MIUI-JHCCNBD24.0.1. I downloaded this from the last week's ROM release section under redmi 1s.

Please advise what is the latest version to refer and the link?

Hello,

I've downloaded the last version for Hongmi 1S (stable 24 with fixed root) and I'm having a problem with the calls. In the middle of a call, I stop hearing the other person and have to disconnect. After that, if I try to make a new call the phone says that the call could not be established and I also can't receive any calls.

Thank you.

A lot of thanks for this fixes, I was expecting a version changes like 24.0.1!

Edit: root works, theme works, no problem on calls, version showed: 24.0.0 (?, but really, this is updated, I see recent italian strings...)

Edit 2: Why didn't you publicize root and theme fixing in the changelog ?

Is there any word from xiaomi on weather Hongmi 1s Stable 25 will ever be released? Seems many people have both the notorious call bug mentioned by @Igor_Festas above and battery drain bugs for weeks and nothing seems to be happening. Why does the Hongmi/note not get weekly updates like other xiaomi devices?

Redmi series got only stable releases (release every 2-3 month).. Redmi is not for enthusiasts, but for masses...

2 to 3 Monthes! Wow that is poor. So they support other manufacturers phones before their own? Basically they are now the same or worse than other smaller chinese manufacturers like jiayu or zopo when it comes to firmware updates. So users with that critical call bug have to wait up to 3 monthes to get a usable phone? That's embaressing.

users got choice.. if they want weekly updates, buy top models Xiaomi Mi2/3... if they have price at first place, buy redmi... simple..

Are you serious? Users got choice? Yeah they've got the choice to pay money for a phone from xiaomi and expect it to work no matter how much they pay. What has price got to do with it if your phone is basically unusable for months because of critical bugs?

If you buy a product it should work, how can you disagree with that? I hope xiaomi when they reach Europe and the US will not attempt to follow this practice as they will quickly fail, completely unacceptable, don't pretend it's acceptable just because they sell their phones cheap.

Sad really as I have always been a xiaomi fan as I thought they provided proper FW support for their devices. But I will definitely not be recommending any one buy a low end phone from xiaomi anymore.

1. So - what are these releases under 4.6.13, 4.6.20 which happen week over week? Are they stable ROMs for Redmi 1S? Please confirm.
2. If Redmi 1S is for masses, xiaomi should pay more attention since this is where the volume of sales is concentrated. People will refuse to buy into a brand if battery is not holding up, especially with the masses - battery is a huge deal. Also when sold across continents, I am sure Xiaomi wants to create an initial right impression.
3. Is the battery issue being looked into? I have been using it for 2 weeks; today I did 1.5 hours 3G browsing, 30 minutes of calls, and in 7.5 hours the battery is down by 45%!!

1. yes they are stable roms only..
2. 3. - I don't see battery issue with your usage...

Can you all stop yelling about Xiaomi's decisions here?!

Here it is A FAN site and this is a thread about weekly release of development build.

If you want Xiaomi to change his policy about ROM or phone, go to the official forum!

Damned!

I'm surprised that people can success in buying a device not released in their country and officially supposed to work in China and few other asian markets, but they couldn't success i getting enough info about how it works before buying it.

Are you saying redmi 1s will last only 1 day - with 2 hours of 3g browsing and 1 hour of talk time? Seems way too less for me to be honest. I have not even activated wifi or 3g data during the rest of the day (apart from browsing time) I am a little worried :( Had higher hopes from this terrific handset
