Hi, there, I'm new here, recently aquired a xiaomi phone, and I have some questions that don't seem to be answered here, so here it goes:
I read here that this EU rom has 'Over the Air' updates, but how can that be if it's an unofficial rom, while the OTA updates must come from xiaomi servers?
Is it lighter/faster than Global rom?
Does it have native call recording without the need of apps that often don't work?
Does it come with the native miui Call and SMS apps instead of the google ones?
Can it be rooted easily?
I have a Redmi Note 10 with the Global rom that I kept unrooted, it's a handsome device but I'm disapointed with the operative system: The settings are a mess, fingerprint doesn't always work, the "do not disturb" doesn't seem to have exceptions for apps, aka it's "all or nothing", and sometimes it's slow (I have it for a month), e.g. today it had a small delay showing the home screen after I turned it on, and the clock showed for 1 sec the time when I last turned it on (19h), and only 1 sec after it showed the real time (22:20).
This is a new device, from a company that makes both hardware and software -- or part of it, at least it can fine tune it -- and MIUI is on it's 12th incarnation. It *should* be better by now, so this is unexcusable.
Also, it only "remembers" to give me some notifications the instant I happen to turn it on.
If anyone could help me with replies, I would be deeply thankful
