Desktop Mode on X14

I loved using the Motorola Desktop Expierence on my old device. I noticed that the X14 does support Video Output via USB-C, but without proper software integration the usecase is pretty limited. Is there a software trick to smoothen the operation?

Is the magisk MIUI+ mode extracted from the Mi Mix still working?


What is working stock:

- Mouse support
- Keyboard support
- Video Output

What im missing:

- option to decouple main screen from secondary screen
- workstation mode like the pads have (desktop like floating windows)

I got mine to decouple by enabling "force experimental desktop mode" in Developer Options. But it only shows a black screen with the mouse cursor, so it's working, but not usable. If I lock the phone, I get a separate lock screen on the external monitor, but when trying to unlock it shows the phone screen some of the time.

So it seems like the functionality is there, but with no software to do anything with it.

Have you had any luck findig a solution?
