Arabic and Persian RTL Fix - 30-10-2011 HUGE UPDATE!!

the tool is not working for me with desire on the 1.9.23..
it worked with me with all the versions.. but with today's one.. it's not :-(
it is killing the status bar.. and starting the ROM with FC..
tried three times.. and tried wiping cache.. neither helped..

Once I did.. but with the previous version it didnt work to me.. so i didnt apply it with the previous version (1.9.16).
I updated to 1.9.23 and booted with everything ok,.. didnt apply anything.. just the RTL.. and ohh.. no status bar and FC at launch..

Strange, make sure you are using the files taken from this weeks release.
Remove everything from 'input' folder, put the new files and run the patch again.

and with the tool from HEBMIUI.. my phone is not booting at all..
the only thing that may differ between ur desire and mine is that mine is on CM7r2.. does it matter?

I've patched today my friend's Desire with Hebmiui's patch with no issues. So again, something is wrong with your rom or patch.
Anyway, just made a flashable zip for you to try (find it attached).
If you still experiencing the same issue try checking your rom zip MD5 against the one published on the ROMS section, if you don't get the same just re-download the rom.
EDIT: Not relevant any more.....

1- Just nailed the problem with the fonts and fixed it. So now you should be able to use custom fonts!!!
Arabic font themes:
*Install it from Theme manager app as "Font".
MIUI_Arabic-GB-font-new.mtz
MIUI_AlJazeera-font-new.mtz
MIUI_AlMohamad-font-new.mtz
MIUI_Arabic-Froyo-font-new.mtz

- Patch directly on device connected via USB. No more need to create zips and flash them!!!
- Patch rom zip. You'll be able to patch the rom zip before flashing it, so you'll have RTL on first install!!!
*And another features I'm working on...

i have the same problem the tool didn't worked for the new version and for the previous too i re downloaded the tool and the same problem found so please upload the RTL FIX for the new versions always it should be only 6.7MB thanx for the help

the tool is OK, nothing wrong with it. the problem with the user above was a corrupted rom, not patch...

I have HTC EVO 4G with MIUI 1.6.17 working flawlessly. I did the instructions carefully a couple times but it doesn't seem to be working for me despite updating java to the latest. I'm attaching the message error I got.

Can you please upload the framework.jar from your rom?
regarding whatsapp, I don't know... I don't speak Arabic or Persian so you'll have to wait until someone else answers you.
Apparently this rom wasn't deodexed, if you have a look at the /system/framework folder on the rom zip you will find a framework.odex file. This patch can't fix non deodexed (odex) framework, sorry.
Anyway, I just downloaded a newer version of the rom (1.9.23) and it's deodexed, so you probably should consider updating to it, or just wait until tonight or tomorrow and install the newest one (1.9.30) that is about to be released.
I'm sorry what's the link for new roms? I'm using MIUI ROM Downloader app and it lists 1.6.17 as the latest.
