Just flashed, all fine so far. It looks like the animations are a bit faster. But to more detailed review more time is needed.Has anyone tried 8.5.24 for mi5? it works well, it has some error

Who put you to go into the beta of 8.0? You can try it, give feedback and the bugs whill be solved.Because Mi Note 3 is better and dont have buggy 8.0
Not sure what update you're talking about, but I'm on Mi 5 ROM 8.5.17 and Facebook Messenger notification is green.
I even made sure that Facebook Messenger sets the color to green and that MIUI doesn't override it:
The resulting blink light color is green for me.Code:05-24 14:21:11.061 1004 3063 D IgorEisberg: --- BEGIN NotificationChannel.calculateLights --- 05-24 14:21:11.063 1004 3063 D IgorEisberg: NotificationChannel.mPreChannelsNotification ? true 05-24 14:21:11.063 1004 3063 D IgorEisberg: Notification.defaults = 0 05-24 14:21:11.063 1004 3063 D IgorEisberg: Notification.ledARGB = #ff00ff00
Are you using an older ROM? Whenever you're reporting an issue, at least write the device model and ROM version you're using.
As I thought...Completely forgot to mention device details, it's a Redmi Pro running 8.4.26 (latest available if I'm not mistaken). Turns out the problem occurs with all applications, with the LED light being always blue (unless I change it from the settings, but that of course changes does not change individual applications' LED light colour).
Then maybe you should ask that question on the official MIUI forums...Sorry but i can not understand why MI5 has android 8 and MI5s has 7....when 5s is newer and stronger.
I have to do some special procedure before installing because I have the version miui Brazil?MI MIX 8.5.24 works without problems.
Thanks for your work.
As I thought...
You can restore original notifications LED behavior by flashing this:

I wouldn't say it is stronger. Snap 820vs821 is not a big difference. Also they both have 3 and 4gb ram versions. The are very similar just Mi5 has this advantage that it is main model in this line. That's why it has faster updates.Sorry but i can not understand why MI5 has android 8 and MI5s has 7....when 5s is newer and stronger.
The same with my Mi Mixmi note 2 8.5.24 booting back to twrp after install, how can i fix this ?
For the MIX Use the modified TWRP of raupe-blunden. It works without problems. Mr Raines twrp does not work with Oreo. Link to the working twrp:http://www.mediafire.com/file/03nd3n0va0ndej5/Help please - Just got my MiMix unlocked, excitedly went to install latest version, getting TWRP error 3004 - yes I have read and researched, yes I have tried every version of TWRP for lithium - no touchscreen; using Mr Raines TWRP - yes touchscreen and other functions work, but when I try and install the ROM, says that 'This package is for lithium' devices; yours is ""'
So, can't install MIUI EU latest because of this error - could others advise how they have installed this on the MiMix please?
Cheers
UPDATE - can (and have) installed latest STABLE - will try to install WEEKLY after that is up and running
Thank you!!! I found it in between my message and yours, but thanks so much! For the MIX Use the modified TWRP of raupe-blunden. It works without problems. Mr Raines twrp does not work with Oreo. Link to the working twrp:http://www.mediafire.com/file/03nd3n0va0ndej5/
