I wouldn't say it is stronger. Snap 820vs821 is not a big difference. Also they both have 3 and 4gb ram versions. The are very similar just Mi5 has this advantage that it is main model in this line. That's why it has faster updates.
Thaks a lot...

Hi, i have to do a clean install on my mi5 to uptade to this version... How can i not lose all app installed? There is a method?

Use MIUI backup in system settings (few apps may be not copied) or use Titanium backup (root require but all apps will be restored).

I've tried to update my mi5 from 6.11.10 to 8.5.24... when i use twrp install rom appear an error... Error 7 updater... Someone can help me?

When I try to install it on my Redmi Note 5 CN, everything works, until I encrypt the phone with the password, then it doesn't boot anymore, it just stalls perpetually at the 3 rolling dots.

Does the same on Redmi 4 prime

Hi, it would be really really nice if anybody could help me: I recently flashed the Xiaomi.eu rom (Redmi Note 5) and generally everything works fine, but I keep getting the phone.anroid.com has stopped error. The error message is the following:

I would be really really glad if anybody knows how to fix this.

Four weeks no update for Redmi Pro...?
Are we finally getting at least Nougat for our phones....?
Or what is the reason for this very long delay...?

Is it so hard to read first two posts?
MI6 and MIX2:
Please make backup before update to 8.4.26 and make wipe /data in case of bootloop

8.5.3 released for MI5, MIX, MINote2..
8.4.28 released for MIX2S...

This version will be last MIUI 9 weekly build, It's expected that the update (MIUI X?) will be resumed in June.
see more info http://en.miui.com/thread-2400817-1-1.html
It is a breake for all phones, your redmi pro is not speciall. Just few most bugged (Oreo) phones recive bugfix versions until some day in June.

Remember you get what you get and it is free. .EU is not associated with Xiaomi. It's at the bottom of the first post as well as others (Copyright © Xiaomi.eu 2010-2018 All rights reserved. Not an official site of Xiaomi, Beijing ) which an amazing number of people don't seem to bother to read. We're on p47 of posts at the moment. Most things have been probably covered somewhere along the way...........

Hi,

My phone is Mi6 with MIUI 9.5 stable 9.5.3.0 (OCACNFA).
The blocklist function doesn't work on this version (on 9.5.7.0 version to).

Is the blocklist function OK on weekly 8.5.8 for Mi6?

Thank you.
