Miui is an awesome rom compared to CM9 and it has unique task manager, Cloud message, Cloud Drive, dialer with recording function built in etc in which cm9 dont have:D:D .,.,...But it has some bugs still exists after many versions:eek: . I dont want to blame the developers because they r trying to bring the rom with new features and it is free service too...So I decided to post the Snapshots from my device which will tell u the whole story...And last thing when i clicked the status in settings it ends in FC!!!!!!!

On 2.7.20 and the version before, clicking on About Phone leads to FC and it also does not report the proper Baseband version. It always says I9100XXKL1, which is entirely incorrect. It's ZSLPG. When I use other apps to see which build I'm on, it says ZSLPG.

Your baseband isn't part of the kernel update. So it is correct. And it doesn't matter. If you've got proper signal and network speeds don't bother with it. If you do want to update, search on the xda forums.

Baseband is your modem driver version.

Okay, I probably misunderstood. So are you saying that baseband stays behind, regardless of ROM updates? And if I want a newer version, I have to manually install that? I thought ROM updates would by default include the latest basebands etc.
