New ![Same bugs] 8.9.20 - MIX 2S (Polaris) bugs so far!

Mix 2S Polaris; XA version(global); twrp version v8/pie; magisk 17.2; eu 8.9.20; full screen gestures; CLEAN INSTALL

1. Missing colored icons in 'Additional settings'. [screenshot] attachment
2. Alarm volume slider has either visual bug or volume can't be lowered to minimum. [screenshot] attachment
3. The most annoying of all bugs ever existed in history of bugs is that media(music from miui music player) gets completely muted/lowered to minimum when a notification appears(e.g. Facebook Messenger )

5. Apps which control brightness are broken, they set desired brightness but when exited brightness get automatically to 10-15%
6. When downloading apps from play store, notification has a broken 'play store' icon instead of downloaded app's/play store icon. [screenshot]
7. FIXED - Can't pull notification/quick settings menu from top when the screen is locked.
8. FIXED - When zooming in camera manual mode in landscape orientation the zoom numbers don't show, but in portrait orientation they appear.
9. Very very slow boot up time, more than a minute, takes 2% battery life just to boot!

Also a thing that is not considered as a bug but I wan't to know about it. Apps report JPEG Quality as 90% can't that be increased to 100% for better camera quality??

• Telegram/Whatsapp notifications don't work (or work randomly, with enormous delay)
• Miui gallery app don't remember most used/recent app in pop up menu "SEND TO" (bug in MIUI10 stable too)

I came back to miui 10 stable, i need notifications working

Not sure if it's ROM or Microsoft problem but intunes (Company Portal) encryption used by many companies fails to encrypt the phone and the only option is to factory reset.

Guys just wondering if the issues are caused by the twrp v8 ? On Xda mimix2s thread it says twrp v8 version isn't compatible with the android 9 miui for our device.

But I've read people having no issues when using twrp China ' recovery-TWRP-3.2.3-0916-XIAOMI_MIX2S-CN-wzsx150.img'

This one ? What you think. I'm still on 8.8.3 and waiting until confirms then I'll dirty flash as I can't lose all my data , primary device for work.

I think that you'll not do it without full wipe..

I'm also using this device as main phone in my work, doing WebEx meetings, jabber, outlook, etc, and I have to go to IT shop in my company to add new device to access MS company productivity tools, Ms authenticator, etc, but it worth the job of having latest miui and I only think that it's a task that happens once a year
