Go to Security>Permissions>Root access. Once there you can enable root acces to apps that need it

You need to launch the app that need root access first, then you will see a mini notification saying that it needs root permission. So just go back there and just enable the root permission

I did it, but there's no option to anble root, I can't add any app which need root acces, there's noting.

It seems like there no superuser manager in this version, you only can allow apps to get root acess. So I have installed Supersu from the market and tried to configured it. It will failed at first and then you have to go to permission and allow this specific apps to get root. And then re-tried to configured it and it work.

Maybe it's not the best way it works. ^^

Install notes:
1. if you are coming from other ROM than WiUi 6 KK and you didn't flash CWM Recovery
- download the latest WiUi ROM
- flash the latest Recovery from here via Updater app
- power off your phone
- use power+volup for enter to Recovery
- flash WIUI_KK_Mi2_4_x_xx.zip to system1 or system2
- you need Wipe Data and Wipe Cache

2. if you're on WiUi 6 KK ROM, follow this steps
- download the latest WiUi ROM
- restart your device into CWM Recovery
- flash WIUI_KK_Mi2_4_x_xx.zip to system1 or system2

My Tips
Better battery/performance:
- disable Location services more info (preventing non user caused wakelocks)
- use App Control (disable almost everything)
If you have problem with GPS:
- try GPS Status & Toolbox

Yes,if you install WSM from AROMA,you can't get root.
So I install wsm tool with apk,and it work

By the way,home botton can't go home page if I open application from folder

In my opinion is button actions and 3dots notification aren't beta features, they are v6 features.
First time I also didn't like new button actions, but now I can live with them. I like 6th series...

More responsive. I have disabled all of the animations (AFAIK). v6 is still much slower than v5 when switching between applications, but 4.9.29 is better in this regard.

Could we flash Xylon animation or Psyn animation (flashable zip by @Wajk ) ?

And... I know that's a feature... But, (only to know for future updates... I'm not asking any eta) is it impossible to remap soft keys(invert menu keys, long for recent apps, short for menu)and put little icons on status bar instead of 3dots?

I don't have any kind of problem for now. The only thing I noticed: I can't navigate through online themes, is because I haven't install xiaomi framework?

Btw, I don't know if is kitkat, the miui v6, or the lack of updated drivers to blame, but general responsiveness is bad, and scrolling in apps isn't smooth

I installed Link2sd (you can also use Titaniu backup or any other app that can freeze apps), installed nova launcher, and then opened link2sd and froze the system launcher app. It works

By the way, why do you need MiTools? If it is possible try to use seperate modules as I did.
