I've installed the reuploaded rom on my Mi9 and can now apply wallpapers and themes. But I get a network error (getOrder|200004|821) when trying to download any new always-on displays, even though I can browse and view the catalog (on WiFi and mobile LTE, and I tried deleting all the apps data). Themes and wallpapers can be downloaded though, only not always-on displays.

Can anyone else confirm this? I'm not sure how to get a proper log...other than adb logcat, where I' not sure what's what;

Hi, my Redmi K30 5G is now EU stable 11.1.25.0 with WZSX TWRP 3-17, can I dirty flash EU 12.0.1.0 stable?
 
Thanks to the team for the great ROM. however, when watching videos on youtobe vandce, pressing the home key back to the home screen does not appear a video window minimize

Did you try to open the case near the smartphone? I've seen even in older miui where animation was present, that if you just open the case staying far from the phone, it just connect the bluetooth, and if you open it near the phone it shows the animation... I know that animation works with NFC so it needs to stay near the phone... Can you test that then tell me?

I cannot confirm that.
It works about 1 meter away and that's out of range of any NFC.
Sometimes it works nearby the phone, sometimes not. The distance doesn't matter.
I think the animation is Bluetooth controlled not NFC

After this updates, should we wipe cache or something from twrp, or better not?

It's probably just Xiaomi's new design. I do find it weird though - marketing and functionality wise. I liked having a button for the 5X zoom when I opened the app.
There is also an "issue" where the camera resets to the 1X lens all the time. Let's say you are using the 5X lens, open the menu, press back, back to 1X. Not sure if it is a bug or not.
Lastly,if you set the -1 screen to be "Google Discover", the transition from the discover screen to the home screen (and back) can be laggy quite often, and that's on the Mi 10 Pro (SD865).

Yes, I did install all 3 packages that were released in the past 2 days. Overall however Miui 12 is horrible, both aesthetic and performance wise. Maybe some people like the fancy live wallpapers but functionality wise there is nothing useful for me as a regular user.
Performance dropped, animations cannot be fully disabled anymore, even if you set them Off, you'll still have the closing transition animation which is annoying. Battery drain is the same so nothing new there. Also screen rotation is buggy, sometimes if you change the view it will freeze and only show about 80% of the screen size. The new font is also not well thought through, some text sometimes falls out of the viewing screen even if the size is set as "S".
All in all, this Miui 12 is the worse one since I'm a Xiaomi user, and that is since 2015 now. I would say Miui 11 was so far the best UI and 12 the worse.

I have a white bar at the bottom of the screen. Do you know what it it and how I get rid of it?

Go at screen with full gesture and activate first or second option from menu that option and bar will dissapear

How secure is this rom? I would like to remove all Google services and xiaomi services so I have a very secure and privacy friendly as it also has a nice user interface.
Is this possible? Would be awesome if somebody could answer me this question because I want a secure phone.
 
Well, I used a Nokia for way to long and I want this rom. The question was if it's possible to remove all the services and the room still functioning afterwards. Not what alternatives I have. I thought this forum is more serious than the rest of the interwebz flooded with trolls and kiddies...
