Hello,
I installed the last miui stable for Gingko and I am experiencing battery drain. Ir lasts less than a day. Anyone with the same issue?
Thanks
Why?I wonder if eu working 12.5.7.0 for poco f3
Thanks i didnt know thatWhy?
They already at 19
12.5.7 is for global
EU for POCO/Redmi K40 is based on China Builds
xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote9ProEU_V12.5.3.0.RJZMIXM_8b395d3a8a_v12-11.zip
Is it a new ROM? Or same latest? Is it safe to install?
I was confused about the ..b395d3a8a... part as I already have version 12.5.3 stable and it is prompting as a newer version. I also couldn't find any details. That's a >2 weeks old build, released on 8th Jan.
Why would it be unsafe to install, tho? I don't have any serious problems with it..
There was a reupload event, that's what you've missed I guess.I was confused about the ..b395d3a8a... part as I already have version 12.5.3 stable and it is prompting as a newer version. I also couldn't find any details.
Maybe I did, yes. Then let's install it.There was a reupload event, that's what you've missed I guess.
Why wouldn't it be A/B? We don't change partition layout and our ROMs don't repartition the device (except dynamic partitions in super block, of course).Could somebody with 11 Lite 5g NE (Lisa) and Xiaomi.eu 12.5.7 Stable, please ask in Terminal/Termux:
getprop ro.build.ab_update
and provide if the response was:true, false or just blank
(I'm still waiting for BL to be unlocked to be able to install Xiaomi.eu but interested to know is it the A/B system like 12.5.8 stock EEA)
Thanks
No. Fastboot ROMs can't be flashed via recovery.Am I currently stuck at 12.5.5.0, or is there some way for me to move up to 12.5.8.0 via recovery?
Too involved. Needs a handful of Linux tools and manually writing a precise op_list file. Not sure why flashing using fastboot is a problem for you.Is there some way for me to "make" a recovery version from the fastboot file? Or is it a bit more involved?
If you are going from weekly MIUIv12, you are doing a downgade so format data is mandatory!
Just sync it with mi cloud. It will preserv apps and configs. As well messages, contacts and call records.Hello!
Is it any way to preserve applications with data when migrating to this stable release? As I understand, it's a bad idea to use root with stable release (or is it fine?)
I only know about titanium backup, but it doesn't work without the root
will it sync apps data? Like progress in games, which don't use google play APIJust sync it with mi cloud. It will preserv apps and configs. As well messages, contacts and call records.
Hi. I'm new to this A/B partitions. I have a Mi11i, flashing a fastboot rom like 12.5.8 on it, do I need to select any partition or something? Or it is simples as run the script (first install in this case) and that's it?Why wouldn't it be A/B? We don't change partition layout and our ROMs don't repartition the device (except dynamic partitions in super block, of course).
The answer is yes, all recently released devices are A/B as standard.
