Works well? Mine keep on causing the apps to crash and sometime triggered storage issue error message (I'm just using 30% of my storage)

Ahaa.. Even with no apps with dual apps enables, I still need to "delete dual apps account", and problem solved

A backup NEVER hurt anyone.
I always do a backup to external storage or PC BEFORE every update

True, only asking because I don't have the opportunity to backup 60+ gigs of data right now.
But as I read, it is like a normal update, no need for a clean phone.

Even with normal updates, a number of things can go wrong.
60+ gigs of data is too much to risk,
If i were you, i would wait till i get to my PC.
After all the update isn't going anywhere

Hi.. my current phone/ROM is Xiaomi Redmi Note 9s (curtana) with xiaomi.eu v11.0.11.0.QJWMIXM (Stable) Rom.
In settings I check for update and I downloaded new xiaomi.eu_multi_HMNote9Pro_HMNote9S_V12.0.2.0.QJWMIXM_1b65e46e7e_v12-10.zip ROM to the internal sdcard.
My question is:
1-How to update the phone without losing my data?
2-If question 1 is not posible, how to flash this Zip file? Pressing update button in settings or flashing it using TWRP?
3-Is this Zip a update or is a fresh install of Miui V12?
Sorry I have a lot of doubts, and I have been reading older post but doubts persist.

Don't forget to clear cache after flashing in twrp

Its important the version of TWRP? I have LR TEAM TWRP-3.4.1b-0530.
Why do you know this file is an update or a full ROM???

@extenge , alright, here's an update.Via TWRP. No i didn't need to reboot to recovery.

First - the initial setup was 12.0.8 + 0623 TWRP, flashed 12.2.7.
Last night I tried to boot to the recovery, but went into fastboot boot loop instead.
I had to flash 3.4.0 TWRP with an extension " after....."
This one allowed me to boot to system again
Now I can also boot to this recovery, but it doesn't ask me for no PIN, pattern or anything to decrypt. Also, this one always starts in chinese.
Didn't try to boot to 1206 after this, it would be the next step, but I'm going to do that only when I attempt to flash another ROM.
EDIT: 1206 TWRP boots nicely through fastboot command, and asks for an unlock code. As I have a PIN and fingerprint set up, didn't decrypt. As it should have.

I am using the Xiaomi Standard launcher but I think if Gestures on 3rd party launchers do not work. Goggle pay and "ok Google" works perfectly.

If DND is activated you have the option to allow incoming calls. I tried this and it works.

hello, version 12.0.6 is very nice but vibration of calls from instant messaging apps like WhatsApp doesn't work. Even if it works, it vibrates once and then stops. I checked that all permissions are granted. There was no such problem in version 12.0.5. have a nice day. 9t pro

So, for Mi Mix 3 users:
There are no notable issues with the new update so far.
App vault blur is sometimes glitchy, also, earphone battery indicator is a bit misaligned.
Nice one, though.
