Welcome back to my thorough review of this week Xiaomi.EU beta ROM! Please report and confirmed if you encountered same issues too. Now let's get started!

WHAT'S NEW
1. Updated device security patch to June 2020.

2. Improved behaviour of expanding notifications
Now you can swipe down to by using only one finger to expand each notifications.

3. New video playing quick options.
Added mute and playback speed into Gallery's video preview.

4. Added option to store all game icons inside GAME TURBO's Space.
All game icons will be hidden on home screen.

NEW BUGS
- None (yet)

BUGS FIXED
- Same as listed down on official changelog.

REMAINING BUGS
1. Picture in Picture (PiP) broke.
Youtube and other apps that support PiP can't be activated properly in small PiP window (When using full screen gestures).

2. Black screen on video panel when minimizing app to floating window.
Steps to reproduce: Play Youtube video, swipe up to float the app, and black screen will emerge.

3. Dynamic font-weight feature doesn't work in Second Space (Make the entire UI appears thin).

4. Dark mode status bar blackened problem in force dark mode apps.

Heard the news that SD 845 devices will be stop from getting beta update on September 5th. Kinda disappointing because Mi 8 only got 2 years and 4 months of beta updates compared to other flagship (Mi 6 got 3 years+). Nothing can be done, it's Xiaomi's decision after all.

Anyway pretty good update this week! Love the old behaviour to expand notifications. But there are some hiccups on full screen gestures compared to previous versions.

I have that too, but its not like that what I mean.
Most of the global icon now missing the animation when you drag the icon, you can try it
Also when you close the clock app, the icon will not animate, also xiaomi email

Will it also stop getting the beta for example for the miui 13 or is it only ending for the miui12?

Set Vibrate on tap off at Sound & Vibration settings.

Yes its ending forever. However, it seems we will still get stable update, so we might still get MIUI 13 next year.

i think, miui12 is the last miu for our beloved mi8
after that, i think we can consider the pixel experienced

I'll get Mi 10 pro or Mi9T Pro after Mi Mix 2S
