Hi MIUIers,

Welcome back to my thorough review of this week Xiaomi.EU beta ROM! Please report and confirmed if you encountered same issues too. Now let's get started!

WHAT'S NEW
1. New lock screen charging animation styles.
Choose from three charging style, Flow, Glow and Wave.

2. Improved screen rotation animations.
Rotation from landscape to portrait apps are much smoother and more seamless now.

3. Added option to change Quick Ball wake-up areas.
Customize Quick Ball wake up areas on the screen edges.

4. Redesigned home screen style selection menu.
Includes option to change swipe up gesture and search provider for Classic style. New user interface adapting to MIUI 12 design language.

5. New camera & gallery filters

6. Added option to switch Gallery's album layout to list view.

7. 3D animations on Control Center primary shortcuts.
Pressing edges of 4 primary shortcuts will animate 3D card pressing effects.

NEW BUGS
- Animation glitch when switching current app to floating window from Recents screen.

BUGS FIXED
- Same as listed down on official changelog.

REMAINING BUGS
1. Picture in Picture (PiP) broke.
Youtube and other apps that support PiP can't be activated properly in small PiP window (When using full screen gestures).

2. Black screen on video panel when minimizing app to floating window.
Steps to reproduce: Play Youtube video, swipe up to float the app, and black screen will emerge.

3. Dynamic font-weight feature doesn't work in Second Space (Make the entire UI appears thin).

4. Dark mode status bar blackened problem in force dark mode apps.

Gotta love that Mi Mix Alpha charging animation!

You forgot to mention the provider selection for search bar and swipe up gesture (in Home screen section, when Classic mode is selected). A lot of effort went into that one

Rebooting seems to fix that. It's some glitch with Screen time app.

I have rebooted on my mi 8 se
But the chinese characters are still there, also when open screen time app, there are some chinese characters

yes, already reboot and it fixed it but after a few hours the chinese character appear again. @Igor Eisberg
