can i know how to extract the file to the directory, iam not root. can it be done using twrp recovery?To get Miui original icons on Miui 12, follow below steps:
- Remove /system/media/theme/miui_mod_icons
- Download and extract attached file to same direction
- Reapply your current theme. Done.

I am not too sure I think its working fine for me. But one thing I noticed, MIUI auto contrast algorithm seems to change compared to before. This is obvious when using super wallpaper, the color does appear to be little bit dull probably bcs of matching with the wallpaper.
You can extract my zip to internal storage before booting to TWRP. Then use file manager in TWRP to copy.
I flashed miui 12 and it stuck in the boot screen, it finally booted after I clean installed and wiped cache,data,system + storage!
Very nice changes overall but I had to go back to miui11 because of dull screen color, reading mode or the color scheme didn't work at all for me. Now they both stopped working in miui 11.0.4.0 global too but they were fine at first!

Hi ! Yes exactly with this new launcher the grstures work more fine but loose Google feed.Install updated Miui launcher Alpha could improve the launcher smoothness.

I havent mistake with pip with youtube new vanced 15 and new small window work fine with youtube and if you minimize it same as pip.

No I wiped system and storage too, with data, dalvik and cache it was stuck in boot screen
Seems to me theres a lot of confusion surounding the concept of "clean install". For some to perform a clean install all it takes is to format data (apart from the dalvik and cache), for others format/wipe the internal storage is mandatory. It would be great if someone with some know how to shed some light over this topic.

Yes I wiped everything and then flashed. formatted storage and wiped data,dalvik,cache and system.
Also clean install is when you wipe everything before you install new rom, including system

How did you install? It is not allowing me to install as the system app cant be installed.
So you have to Miflash fastboot rom, remember to keep Clean all & lock option uncheck.
I dirty Flash over 20.3.26 just uncheck all mod of Magisk if you use it and Substratum too. No mistake all work fine with Twrp OrangeFox for DIpper
