[Mi 8] [Review] [Weekly Review] MIUI 11 Xiaomi.EU Beta 9.11.28

Hi MIUIers,

I am starting a new series to discuss what's new and bugs happening in EU beta ROMs. It will be helpful if some of you can report and confirmed the issue here to official Xiaomi.EU website. So without further ado, let's get started!

WHAT'S NEW
1. Colourful & refined playback notification control.
Playback notification now follows album colour schemes and added Android 10 seek bar support on notification.

2. Customise app shortcuts for side panel on lock screen.
You now can add or remove apps to display on side panel lock screen.

3. Refined home screen icon size change utility.
Adjust icon size not limited to specific sizes specified.

4. Added Mi Health system apps.
Manage your health with built-in steps tracker, bed management, weight, menstruation period and more.

5. Added shortcut to uninstall on app quick shortcuts

6. Added parameter info on Pro camera mode.
Shows details on each parameter that can be used in Pro camera mode. (Untranslated yet)

NEW BUGS
- Switching dark mode on/off will cause system launcher to force close.

BUGS FIXED
- FIX Quick snap broken issue.

- Added private DNS with connection fixes.

REMAINING BUGS
1. Data usage settings do not follow SIM Card choice.

2. Dynamic font-weight feature broke several third-party apps font boldness (e.g. WhatsApp).

3. Dynamic font-weight feature doesn't work in Second Space.

Good job! They fix bugs and also added back the private DNS feature which is very cool. And that new playback notification is so nice!

I've seen Playback control in 9.11.21 with youtube vanced on sirius
Mi Health there too, but it hidden. I have to use another app to open it

Yeah heard that all device that got 9.11.22 before already receive that cool feature

I have to say that battery backup is much better than before.

Hmm for me its quite draining, maybe because i am living at weak signal area. Will go back to campus this Sunday and see whether the battery improved or not! Thanks for sharing

Yes I enabled it but I don't have the seek bar option when using music app

No seek bar with MIUI Music app too but others apps yes.
