Known Issues (Weekly ROM)

I welcome everyone. I installed a new weekly firmware and after a few days of use I found several bugs. 1. On the lock screen, notifications are not opened, although there is an arrow for this. 2. Applications are not launched through the quick access widget such as a voice recorder, "add a note" and an external photo shortcut from WhatsApp. 3. In the settings, in comparison with the previous update, the dividing strip disappeared (drawn in red). All of the above may apply to the Chinese original version of the firmware. But what I found, I wrote. Firmware without any modifications. I am attaching screenshots.

This has always been like this as its a xiaomi/select user curated store. Xiaomi.eu don't and can't really do much about this apart from the stock themes included.

Phone mi11 lite 5g, aptx adaptive not work? always switch to mono. In the developer menu disabling HD audio selects SBC and this is the only way to change the codec to permanent.

Camera and Microphone notification still not showing on Status Bar (v14.0.23.4.25.DEV)

Just a reminder.

v14.0.23.4.25.DEV
Camera / microphone / location notification
If I understand it correctly, it works correctly on my XM 12. (This feature only works with third-party apps)

Works perfectly as designed.
Not showing up on device: star

Tried on 3rd party app: WhatsApp, Telegram etc.

On Stable versions, it used to work with native Camera app as well.

I remember you addressed this last time and said it would be done in next release.

Can someone else with Mi 11 Ultra (star) confirm if it's working for them ?

Irrelevant, it was considered an unexpected behavior and was patched since then.
Make sure it's toggled on in Privacy protection settings...
Good man !!

Yes it works now.

The settings was disabled. Enabled now.

My bad.
And thank you for the tip.

Mi 11 Ultra (star).
MIUI V14.0.23.4.25.DEV
Mobile Data (internet) doesn't work anymore.
Did a factory reset but still the same.
Thinking of going back to Miui 13.
Does anyone have the solution ?
Thank you

Might have to manually enter the Acess Point Name details and delete the old one. Normally when this is blank and you restart phone, it'll automatically get added from phone company.

I had bug open from this (with STABLE), but for some reason they deleted that thread, but yes.
Only way to fix it for me was go back to MIUI 13 and everything works again..

Fresh install the ROM again/formatting data
Take a backup pls

If this still doesn't work, flash an official ROM using MiFlash and test. If all okay, then flash xiaomi.eu's ROM.

Hello,
I hope I'm posting this in the right thread :). Whenever I try to install an app using APKPure or Uptodown app store, I always get this message (see screenshot) and the app can't be installed. Is there any solution to this ? I am using a Mi 10 pro with MIUI 14.0.3.0 Stable. Thank you.
Kind regards

Poco F4, updated to 14.0.23.5.15.DEV but mobile data is not working. Do you want me to send any specific logfile? If so please tell how to. Appreciate

Thanks for the report. Apparently, Xiaomi has completely removed support for external installation sessions (like used by SAI, APKPure, etc.) since Package installer version 5.1.3.0-20230504. This is not fixable. We'll have to revert to version 5.1.2.2-20230504 permanently. This will be done for all future releases.

OK, it was still working a week ago, but then an update for the Packager Installer came in the Xiaomi Getapps Store, which I shouldn't have installed. Thanks for your work
