DOWNGRADE IS NOT RECOMMEND…

mi 9 8/128gb (not global)

After update I want to go back to p

U must have full previous backup

1. Install twrp in fastboot
twrp-3.3.1-34-

2. Format data or u can try OTG

3. TRY TO INSTALL 9.8.1 END BY ERROR 256 AND BOOTLOOP

4. PUT TWRP FOLDER OF PREVIOUS BACKUP IN OTG OR IN INTERNAL STORAGE
5. FULL RESTORE OF BACKUP .. BOOT SYSTEM VENDOR DATA .. ETC…

NOW UR PHONE IS RETURNED TO LIFE

How do I flash Magisk in this situation?
Well, I don't know how to flash it when having Q already installed, maybe you can do a clean flash like I did;
In TWRP > Format data > Reboot to recovery > Flash 9.8.8 and immediately install Magisk 19.3 > Wipe Dalvik cache.

9.8.9/10 RELEASED for some devices
- Fixed German language FC at battery stat
- Added App drawer option in MIUI Launcher

How to update Android 10 from 9.8.8 => 9.8.10 (TWRP
doesn't
support storage decryption)
Copy zip file to USB OTG, no wipe needed..
or
via ADB at TWRP, no wipe needed..
Code:
adb push xiaomi.eu_multi_MI9_9.8.10_v10-10.zip /storage
adb shell twrp install /storage/xiaomi.eu_multi_MI9_9.8.10_v10-10.zip

via ADB or USB OTG, no wipe needed..
Code:
adb push xiaomi.eu_multi_MI9_9.8.15_v10-10.zip /storage
adb shell twrp install /storage/xiaomi.eu_multi_MI9_9.8.15_v10-10.zip

WhenI try to install via adb, I go to TWRP and try with these code and my error just show up

C:\adb>adb push c:\adb\rom.zip /tmp/
error: device '(null)' not found

after that I try with adb sideload andjust show up this

C:\adb>adb sideload rom.zip
loading: 'rom.zip'
* cannot read 'rom.zip' *

What should I suppose to do?

By the way thanks for update and working hard

Just follow my instructions.. It's simple.. Life is too short for doing things complicated..

Just installed 9.8.9 on my Mi Max 3.

Have tried to activate the Ultra Battery Saver mode under Battery & Performance.
Once activated, it goes through the automatic adjustments for this mode and then the screen eventually goes back to the locked screen, except that the Ultra Battery saver is not activated.

Can anyone else confirm if you've been able to get this to work?

Version 9.8.9 on Redmi Note 7 is running fine now.
Also it feels faster than the previos Version.
Good Job Xiaomi.eu Team, Thank you.

Since 2-3 weekly versions the camera app goes in FC very easy on Mi 9 SE, just open the camera and quick switch the mode, for example open the camera, select night mode, then video, and bam, FC :-(
Bug is confirmed from some Italian user in the Mi 9 SE Italian telegram group.

How can I flash Magisk after flashing new 9.8.10? Twrp gives error mounting /system, as It is encrypted. Thank you!

As simple as it sounds, this works perfectly.
Used the USB OTG method, copied the 9.8.10 to my usb, enabled usb storage on TWRP, Flashed rom and then flashed Magisk.
Everything is alright, so far so good, thanks for finding this simple method!

Hello, I am using a MI 8 and have just uploaded (9.8.9) the update. Runs so well.
I noticed that in the Quick Snap mode but now a sound is played, although the camera sound is disabled.
How can the sound be disabled in Quick Snap mode?

Yes, also on 9.8.8 it doesn't work, you confirm it in 9.8.9 doesn't work too but on Official 9.8.9 beta it work perfectly
