still within the hour after updating my max 2. so far no abnormal happenings, everything is smooth. thanks.
no problem waiting for the next update in october yet. by that time the security update will be september already.

Hello everyone.. It appears that miui 9 for redmi note 4 (nikel) is delayed again. Congratulations though to xiaomi.eu for its good job.

One quick question if i may: I have redmi note 4 (nikel) with xiaomi.eu stable miui 8 V8.5.6.0 (twrp installed, rooted). If i install miui 9 via global developer 7.9.15 does the bootloader lock again ? Do i have to follow the procedure of unlocking and rooting the phone again?

When you gonna release Rom for Mi Note (virgo) ?? Since 2 weeks is available the Global Beta Rom for this device

Does this version include September android patches solving Blueborne vulnerability (CVE-2017-0781, CVE-2017-0782, CVE-2017-0783, and CVE-2017-0785)?

i think i was not clear enough. out of the box, the os of my max 2 is already 7.1.1 and still is and with version miui 8.5.6.0. i only did update from miui 8 to miui 9.

Thanks for the reply, yet app has been reported to give mixed and false results lately, (on 4 devices I tested the first day it showed all devices were vulnerable, next day all safe, no patches installed). The only way to be sure is having September patches as far as I know.

Yes, the App is just unpaid advertising for the company concerned. False results abound, I do not believe their assessments.
