[ROM][JB][4.3][2013-12-29] CyanogenMod 10.2

@Chorus uhm what? OTG works already? I thought it doesn't. And please fork my kernel and commit your changes so I can see what u did to fix it.

I'll commit the changes as soon as someone with charging problems can confirm that it's actually working :)

There's no need for a OTG hack om Mi2, it's only needed on N4 since the hardware does not really support OTG

I don't know why the power supply on OTG doesn't work (see dmesg 'vbus_otg is NULL.'). I have not tested, but I'm pretty sure OTG will work if you supply 5v externaly

N4 and Mi2 have the same hardware so I think the OTG is needed because the driver doesn't officially support it.
I know how to enable power on the USB port but this breaks USB completely.

N4 may be able to provide power to USB, too. It currently just doesn't do it for the same reason why cm11 on mi2 doesn't do it.
The vbus is not implemented in the kernel.

Ok, maybe it could work on N4, but it doesn't with the current kernels :) The modified OTG-kernel for N4 is however not need for the Mi2, since OTG cable detection (USB ID-pin) is working

If you can tell me how to enable vbus I will give it a try :)

Don't think so, cm 10.2.1 branch is deprecated, it's useless update it, since u will have same things every build
Mmm but this rom is still far from stable, so where are the problems then? Is it the m1cha kernel which needs to be updated or what?

There aren't any changes.
CM10.2 is stable. The kernel is feature complete. What else do you want?
CyanogenMod doesn't update anything anymore.

Only more battery life :) Low battery performance is the only issues that effects your roms/kernels :) and all the others 4.2+ roms. Only lastest mokee os use less battery. The guy who compile it use your kernel source code.

users reported a very good battery life for cm10.2(more than 1day)
and mokee doesn't use any of my sources.

I had CM10.1 roms which had A LOT better battery life and CM10.1 is Android 4.2.2.

Oke, maybe I just do not understand the whole thing then. Because to me it seems a rom is not stable when battery drains are big. I've tried this rom many times and found battery life being really average - bad. When compared to stock Android which lets my phone run 2 days (2x24 hours) on one charge with about 4-5 hours screen on time.
There is stable as in no sudden reboots or crashes, but in my opinion stability also means the rom shouldn't drain more battery then needed.

So now my questions are, how come this happens, is there indeed a big difference in CM10.1 and 10.2+?

so in your opinon 1d battery life is bad? for me thats extremely good.

And in case u use powersafe mode on 4.1 roms. then you should use the powersave governor on cm10.2, too otherwise it's not comparable.

No, I'm using the normal mode on the 4.1 rom. And 1 day of battery life is bad imho if it would be possible to get twice as much battery life. In my experience I could hardly get 1 day with the CM10.2 rom while I easily get 2 days with stock, with the same usage. So I do not understand why 1 day would be extremely good... then 2 days would be impossible :p ?

1- u're crazy, buy a phone like lg l3 which have 7 days battery....
2- Aosp rom uses the MIUI sources, they've for the original drivers, lib ecc... Because it's xiaomi that compile those ..
3- again, u're crazy :p

1. This question was for @M1cha not for you. I am just curious and most of the time he satisfies my curiousity with his compact but clear answers :)
2. Use correct English please. It seems you try to explain something but there is no real explaning going on there. So what doe you mean by original drivers, libs, etc. ? I thought Xiaomi released their sources?
3. I wonder if you even understood the nature of my question/my question at all. If you want to, please be so kind to complete your answer.

U told that 1 day is not enough for u... We're using full nexus 4 sources... And it have 12 hrs max, we take advantages from the smaller screen, and 1 day is a long period.
Xiaomi didn't release 100% sources, it's logical that the kernel on aosp Rom is better since it's the original adapted from xiaomi to aosp.
