No internet on my Xiaomi MI 12 Pro with MIUI 14 23.5.29

I have no internet connection anymore with my Xiaomi Mi 12 Pro neither with my connected WLAN nor with LTE when WLAN is switched off. This bug must have something to do with VPN. If I switch on VPN (I use OpenVPN and my own VPN-server in US) then the internet connects via WLAN or via LTE and everything is ok. If I switch off VPN I have no internet connection anymore with my phone.

Any ideas?

Solved the problem!
It is caused by the OpenVPN App on my Xiaomi M12 Pro. If you start the App and open a VPN tunnel the app offers 2 additional settings. One of the is to block any internet traffic without a VPN tunnel. If you switch this to on and reboot your phone then the phone starts with VPN tunnel switched off and you have neither an internet connection via WLAN nor via G4or G5 net.
So the solution is easy. Activate VPN and switch this option off. Then everything works normal.
