Andy: Turns out the Kernel is NOT the problem. The problem was my own stupidity :) Upon closer inspection of the .zip files, I realised that the one which I had downloaded was about 400kb in size (when its supposed to 1.1mb or something). The download was obviously interupted or something! Anyways i downloaded it again(properly this time!) and just flashed it.

I can't find the option to change the carrier logo. I am using the latest download on 1.9.9. Thanks in advance.
 
First of all let me say thank for creating this app, I've been looking for something like this for a while now.

Now on to the problem. I flashed ESRight.v2 -1.9.9 on the newest version of MIUI and after I reboot from recovery and pull down on the slider of the lockscreen I immediately get a FC on the status bar and launcher, so I went back into recovery and flashed my backup.

I'm a novice at this stuff but I can follow instructions. If I need to change the apk's in your zip I can do that but anything else I would need some kind of explanation on. I appreciate any suggestions that anyone can offer.

p.s. I used CCName a while ago to change the eri.xml, even though the eri.xml file showed the new name I wanted, the status bar never reflected the change.That may be the conflicting issue, not sure.

Hi. You shouldn't have to modify anything for it to work. It should work as it is..

Is it possible to get a logcat and PM it to me?

I'm happy to help but it's difficult to know what your issue is without seeing the error messages..

There isn't an option to change the Logo, you can hide/unhide it using the app. If you want to change the logo, search xda for MIUI Carrier Logos. It explains how to do it...
 
Did anyone noticed that carrier sign on switched mod is a little bit up?

The new versions now come with added bounce :eek:

Absolutely LOVING this mod on my Desire HD. Got a very minimal look going on, but just two small problems.

The battery icon only shows up on 100% charged, unless I use the top bar mod. All the others just don't work for me :(
And I don't see the alarm clock icon all the time.

Othewise, excellent work man, keep it up :) I think this is what the MIUI modders have wanted for a long long time.

aaahhh ignore me lol. I didn't try out the latest release. I was using the 1.9.2 release on 1.9.9
 
So this is the first time I've had issues flashing the extended settings. I flash end it says it's successful, however I get stuck at boot screen and have to do a battery pull (waited 20 mins before pulling)
I have tried to flash the mod separate (switched, center, and right), flash ROM then mod in same recovery, changed recoveries, created my own update zip (able to boot but no changes so I probably missed something in update-script), tried all 3 etc.. I really don't know why this is happening, first time I've ever had a problem with this

Device: Nexus S 4G
Rom: Miui 1.9.9 from miui.us

Anyone know how I might be able to remedy this? Thanks!

Andy, i've tried to mod in my theme your app....this black icons to white, but it haven't apply properly. Isn't it com.miui.control.panel???

Andy, fantastic job with this.

Just an idea, could you incorperate the 4-way reboot mod with extended settings? that would be cool :)
 
Andy I love it! Only thing I think is missing is adjusting overscroll color. IMO that would make this mod perfect. Thank you again :)

Fantastic job but If I wanted to translate the mod into Italian which files should I change? Original 3d for translation is dead

I use miui au d2ext ita mod by me
