[MOD] Extended Settings Menu Options

I appreciate you taking time to do this mod, thanks.

If I dont wish to have all the mods is it safe to remove framework.jar from the zip before flashing, as the most important thing for me is 4Way Reboot?

However when I try to flash the file given by Kunon (thanks!) on cwm, I get this error:

WORKAROUND if flashing doesn't change anything:
1. Reboot into recovery
2. Manually mount /system and /data from recovery menu
3. Flash the downloaded file

I have 2.1.1 of this right now. How do I installed the updates? I know it is probably in here somewhere but on tapatalk there are around 276 pages to look through!

If you are trying it on v4 I.C.S it is not working. As yet there are no extended settings for i.c.s, only for GB related roms.

I am looking to get the swiping clearing the notifications and the reboot options. Is there maybe an earlier update that I could try since this newest one is not taking?

Tried flashing an older version but still causes the phone to bootloop. Version 2.1 still works fine everytime I return to it. Anyway to get the swiping and multiple reboots mods into the version that works for me?

Id like to try and compile the 4Way Reboot mod myself for newer GB releases. I checked out THIS post but the zip file is no longer available. Could you provide the file or another means to do it myself.

Just decompile android.policy.jar from any of my mulitmod packages. The link which You have entered is an old one, I don't even remember if I have changed those smali files. In my latest mods there certainly are newest versions. (Search a few post above for the link).

BTW version 2.3.30 of my mod will work flawlessly on GB 2.4.6 due to the lack of changes in the frameworks.

I just wanted to clarify - This mod is designed for Gingerbread and hasn't been ported to ICS yet, right? And no-one else has converted it themselves? And there's no way of getting it to run properly on ICS? If that's the situation I'll stop trying and just wait for ICS to become more stable, but this mod is an absolute must-have, I love it.

I clicked the "latest versions" link, tried the gingerbread versions in "extended settings" and it didn't work, then tried the ICS zip in the "ICS" folder too but it made bootloops. Should it have worked?

There are no changes in the modified files in 2.3.30 MIUI [GB] 2.3.7 version.

However, I prepared an update anyway. It contains new modification (disable scrollcache function, which makes scrolling much smoother). The rest of modifications remained unchanged (Extended Setting including MIUI Control Panel; modified Launcher; SpareParts; overscroll; volume+, T9 dialer search, ICS-like notifications slide-off, and maybe others, which I even don't remember now. ICS transitions animation was removed due to incompatibility problems with certain of phones.)

possible errors description (CWM flashing)

• If someone has problem while flashing through CWM (code 0) then You need to override the 'update-binary' file (located in META-INF\com\google\android\ directory of this package) with this file unpacked from CWM package dedicated for Your phone (ex. newest rom package for your model).
• Error 7 means unmounted system partition, mount it manually.

Hi guys! I'm new here, so please forgive me if I have noobish questions

First of all, I own a Desire Z and i would also like to flash the MIUI 2.3.30 [GB]. However, I am a big fan of scrollable widgets (if you ask me, this is the only downside of MIUI). I would like to know if this mod will allow me to have scrollable widgets, and if it is compatible with MIUI 2.3.30 (GB).
I see that certain user have been having some problems with this (for example, ARieS who said that his status bar has disappeared after flashing this ROM) so I would really enjoy something that works on first try.
