Mi8 Face Unlock - swipe to Unlock?

Hey Guys, is it possible to Unlock the Phone not directly with Face Unlock. I want to Unlock with my face but swipe to get into the Home Menu?
For the Case to See my notifications for example.

I have the same Problem... there is right now no solution as far as i know. I can't understand why even not adding this essential feature.

I dont think it is possible. thats why it is called face unlock,
the device gets unlocked, when it sees your face

You are wrong. iPhone, Huawei, Oppo and alot of Companys which have phones with Face Unlock will first wait u swipe up.

It makes no sense if you can't see your Notifications first.

Guys I think the same and its incredible they didnt do anything on this yet. Please all report a suggestion with the phone under the bug notification section in the system preferences!

That's not the solution. The solution/function is currently not included... i hope the devs will add it soon as possible because it's like a basic and logical function which every other Android/iOs Phone with FaceUnlock have

Its really annoying that this feature is missing. I am seriously thinking to turn off face unlock and use fingerprint only . But then I will have the huge notch for nothing ...
