Location Services on Mi9 with Miui 11.0.2.0 xiaomi.eu version

Hello All,
Any ideas how to fine tune the Location Services on Miui 11.0.2.0 xiaomi.eu version?
On the previous Miui version 10, you had the option to use it in battery saving mode so you would not need to have the GPS receiver on all the time to locate you.
Now you either enable Location access or not, there is no other option.
Anybody has any ideas how to get in between the two options?

Not possible on Android 10, nothing to do with Xiaomi.

Same, it is quite troublesome. I think the toggle in notification bar now enable or disable location, not necessarily the GPS. Some apps don't use the GPS, some do, but we cannot control this now.
