Fail to root mi2s with framaroot

I'm trying to root my mi2s via framaroot but always error msg appears "failure #7".
Already activated "Unknown sources" even "Usb debag"
Also note that I'm a rookie in all this so kindly help as much simple & detailed you can.
Finally,correct procedure is Root & then to pass ROM,correct??(rookie!!)
Kindly give details/links/videos for both.

Are you running MIUI? If you are, you should just activate root in the security app if I remember correctly.

if come from MIUI rom Mutilang you should just activate root in the security app.if from other rom you can use ShuameSetup_2.1.0 on PC

I'm not running any custom rom.
MIUI Version JLB 29.0
In security app cannot find such an option.Screenshots would be helpful!!

Guys do not forget I'm a rookie so my question is this : In order to root the phone should I pass a custom rom prior ot after rooting??

Install our rom.. In stable version is root deactivated..

we have a unlocked bootloader. That means that we don't need any root exploit.
your choices are:
1) install a rooted ROM(dev from en.miui.com or miuiandroid rom)
2) install CWM(it has a root option)
