Xiaomi's latest Android 12-based MIUI 13 updates seem to be breaking phones. According to Xiaomiui, phones like the Mi 11, Mi 11 Ultra, and Mi 11 Lite 5G have all been hard-bricked recently after installing the new MIUI 13 builds.

if you have a black screen after updating, try this…
- hold power button for 15s and check if device is booting
if its not working try this…
- hold power button and volume down at the same time
- check if fastboot screen is displayed
- hold power button for 15s and check if device is booting

I contacted the guy on telegram. However, he said that the Gpay would not work so I am bit hesitated to get it done. what did you actually do to your phone? How did you manage to fix "waiting for device" issue? I have downloaded the adb but still doesn't work. I tried downloading the miunlcok software but it shows an error..
Hey there friend of mine has the same problem with his xiaomi mi 11 ultra, somehow in adb the device is still here, do I have any possibility to recover the files from the device? we have no backup from all the pics on it over the last 2 years. Don't know what happened maybee it bricked itself with an update....
