HTX One X (int'l)
WHAT!! Samsung is the eazyest phones to Rom, HTC are the worst,, dont know where u got that from,,, and the best to Rom is the Samsung sgs1 and also the sgs3 i have both and it only takes a few clicks,, HTC for example you gotta do this, then do that, that this and that,,, geeeeeee,,,,,, oh ps, also harder to brick!!!I have installed different ROM's on several different phones but the worst phones to install ROM's on is definitely Samsung. Not one single Samsung device I have installed MIUI (or any ROM for that matter) has worked from the first moment. They have all had "issues".
Now I am no "fanboy" but I refuse to root and change ROM's on Samsung devices to that simple reason, try installing a ROM on an HTC and you will see the difference.
But I hope it works out for you, cause this ROM is simply unreplaceable. It's like with women only you don't get all the downsides. At a very young age you don't care about them, but they care for you. A little older and you would die for them, but they don't care about you. You get a little older and get all relaxed with them, but they would die for you. You grow old and can't fu**ing get rid of them, they rule the world...
Thinking about it, that must have been the worst comparison ever. But like the American presidental candidates it's all about those last three words you say.
God bless MIUI!
this video is noting to do with recommendations!!! you should have a say Samsung ph not the Mi phone,, with the Miui Rom on the Samsung ph running instead, p.s,, title saying, latest miui running preview
better off waiting for a stable multiI mean just adding the language strings from miui 2.9.29 lang pack to 2.10.12 miui.
So what are the strings that needs to be added for it to work?
Also, your email address is visible on one of the notifications. You might want to blur that out.
You can try downloading one of the multi pack files and the corresponding version of the FULL ROM.Hi there.
I'm a newbie to MIUI, but not to custom roms...
- Do I install it through ClockworkMod or how is it done?
- Does it come in danish language?
Thanks.
Best regards.
thanks! you've been really exaustive1) JB is only for some phones, not all. (SGS3 is ICS.)
2) In the first post of this thread, you can see which ROM is for your phone...
ae4ca34282f59aa90265e2c0f731b4df miuiandroid_m0-2.10.12.zip (Samsung Galaxy S3)so you download
3) New ROM versions come every friday with English language. If you want italian, you wait 1-2 days and the language pack will come too.
try to edit /system/etc/spn-conf.xml and replace "Tchibo" with any text that you like. lets see if it can change your carrier.since Version 2.9.14 O2 Germany shown as Tchibo.
MIUIAndroid.com is the only ROM with this issue....not god

FYI MiuiAndroid Staff:
I just discovered there is a corrupted/empty file within the 'Browser.apk' which will cause a FC when navigating to: Browser > Settings > Advanced
The FC is caused by "Browser/res/xml/advanced_preferences.xml" being empty or corrupt, I'm not sure if this is effecting any other device build as I only port from the CRESPO device.
I solved this by replacing 'advanced_preferences.xml' with the previous build's file and removing "Browser\res\values\xmls.xml"
Then recompile Browser.apk and push back to device.
