That's the stupid part. Once I uninstalled Google Calendar, the MIUI Calendar app will not be able to detect the calendars anymore. In order to use MIUI Calendar, I will need to have Google Calendar installed. Frustrating...
I managed to resolve the issue by installing Google Calendar. It seems that Google Calendar needs to be installed in order for MIUI Calendar to sync the selected calendars. Anyone knows how to bypass this requirement? It is quite pointless to keep 2 calendar apps when I only need 1 of them.
The thing that many consumers misunderstand is that processing time and shipping time are different. The processing/waiting time is the time before your order is shipped. The shipping time is the amount of time that it will take for a shipped order to reach you. Shipping estimates are typically...
This is actually not a bug but it happened to me in the past before. My IP was blocked from accessing xiaomi.eu though I can access miuiandroid.com. Any idea how I can resolve this? I can now only access via a VPN. My IP is a Singapore IP and dynamic so I tried switching resetting my connection...
It is crippling to the point that I cannot backup anything. I did not update using the OTA but updated using the Updater app's Select Installation Pack option. Looks like I need to do a wipe and do a fresh install. I have to backup my user data, I guess.
Downgraded to 3.7.26 and I am getting 'android.phone has stopped' messages instead with no phone reception. Looks like I should downgrade to 1-2 weeks back.
The Xiaomi 1 is used by my mother. Her plan doesn't include a 3G data bundle. The telco provider charges almost $200 for 60MB of 3G data usage for her mobile subscription.
Hmm... I actually went into Monitor app but could not find the options. I went through the app again and found what I need in Traffic Stats > Manage App Connections.
I was exploring my Xiaomi 1 which my mother has been using after I upgraded to Xiaomi 2. There is an app that can control the 2G/3G and Wi-fi access for each app. Where can I access that on my Xiaomi 2? Her Xiaomi 1 is using stock MIUI in Chinese, not the translated MIUI.
Thanks for the tip for Android File Transfer dmg. I am largely relying on the cloud services like Google Drive and Dropbox to transfer files between my Macbook Air and Xiaomi 2.
I use combination of a Windows desktop and a Macbook Air. My Xiaomi 2 has no issues being detected on the Windows desktop when connected. However, my Macbook Air doesn't seem to be able to detect the phone at all. Anyone faced similar issues?
