XIAOMI products stopped connecting to China mainland server

Hi guys, my Mi control Hub(China) went offline in France tonight so I guess this is still happening.
It looks connected to my xiaomi china router that works fine but no response from Chinese server.

Hello, since yesterday I have been experiencing a complete disconnection of my Mi Gateway station. It is properly connected to the Wi-Fi, but nothing shows up in the app, everything appears offline. For your information, I reside in France, and the station is set to the China Mainland region. This is the first time this has happened to me, and I have had the station for 7 years.

Hello, today everything is back to normal. The gateway reconnected without me doing anything.

First time. The problem is still here. My devices related to the gateway disappeared from the app.

Edit a few minutes later I readded the gateway and it is working back to normal. (there was an update on xiaomi home with some message to agree with)

Samme issue occured some days back (1. time) and still not working..
Since there seems not to be any way of fixing this (by myself), so I guess I just have to wait and see if the devices and MI gateway starts working again (?)

Any news on this one. My Gateway lumi.v3 stoped working a few weeks ago and I can't connect it to the mihome app. I use mihome by vevs. I've tried installing the original app and changing the server to China but still no luck. I've read on a few places that it might be my internet provider so I haven't tried creating the mobile hotspot with the same ssid like my home network. can this be the culprit or is it just straight out xiaomi locking out their CN devices outside of China region?

My Mihome app is working again :)
The only thing I did, was to disconnect the hub/gateway from the power outlet over night.
The next day I re-connected it and after a while all my devices came online again.
Maybe I was just lucky with the timing(?)

I forgot to mention that I have reseted the gateway and now can't get it back in.

After lurking this thread experiencing the same problem I found a possible solution. For me, everything went offline after a few power cuts because of some house work I was doing. After about a week of everything being offline I tried resetting one of the downlights using a different external IP (instructed it to connect to mobile tether) - and this worked. I then instructed my router to reconnect because I don't have a static ip - it obtained a new one and surprise surprise - everything was back online without needing to re-add anything.

So in my case I think my ip was banned because 27 devices reconnected a few times over a short period of time. Be persistent maybe it doesn't work on the first try with a different IP on the and you can go back to enjoying your automations. Make sure you disable wifi on your phone if you use the tether method, so you end up on the LTE ip.

I have the same problem, and have not been able to add devices. The dgnwg02lm is connected to the network, but when I try to register one of my temperature sensors, I am told that the gateway is not registered. Looks like the only solution is to purchase a new gateway?

Best regars

My Gateway also went offline 3 weeks ago. had no problems before. since 2 days now my smart camera also went offline.
while writing this, i noticed that my gateway is online again since today 7th Nov.
the smart cam is still offline but maybe needs a powercycle to get into the wifi again.

definitely lost all trust in xiaomi now and wouldnt bet on them in future for smart home devices

Hi all
Same problem for me.
As I have just switched from one Internet provider to another, my local network hasn't been connected to the Internet for a couple of weeks. Coming back online, I discovered my xiaomi control hub needed to reconnected. I tried dozens of time and failed each time.
In fact, the hub is actually connected on my local network and I can see it in my dhcp supervision. Some automations are still active. But the hub cannot register again in China.
I was offline around Dec 1st to Dec 12th. First time this happenned to me. From France.

Don't worry. The power drops out regularly here and because of that I somewhat frequently get this issue. It solves itself after a few days without interference. Sometimes it's one of two days, sometimes a week. Rather irritating but it solves itself. The issue might be because the home software is set to connect to China mainland perhaps?
