Mido is the codename of redmi note 4x and redmi note 4 global that os the one with b20

There are two models for it, Global version and normal. Global version of Redmi Note 4 has B20 support.

To be more confusing, global version of RN4 is same size as Redmi Note 4x, so you need to buy RN4x cases and screen protectors.

* Mi mix 2 global - "Chiron" firmware untested

It should be the same bands as Mi 8. Mi 8 SE does not have B20.

@dogiex @wamy007: As far as I know you both are right, Mi 8 and 8 EE support B20, Mi 8 SE don't.

Just got back from holiday and start playing with the phones.
Also there's a redmi 2s global version that i received.
Tested the redmi note 5 and will test the mi8 and redmi s2 when i can unlock the bootloader, damn waiting time

hi,and thanks for having me on the forum. Is the mi note 2,global with 6gb ram 128gb rom supported for b20? The listing says its chinses version with global rom with miui 8.0 stable

If you have indeed the global version, band20 is supported.
Beware there's no "red global sticker" on the box.
Also no English writing on the back of the box like they do now with global versions.
If you want to be 100% sure that it's the global version you need to test it with network signal guru
