Xiaomi continues to expand the family of its home automation products for our great pleasure. It seemed interesting to me to do an article about it to better discover it. So I present you the new camera signed Aqara, the Xiaomi Aqara Smart Camera G2. With this new camera model Xiaomi goes even further with the interconnection between products and increases the control possibilities. Let's find out immediately.
The Xiaomi Aqara Smart Camera G2 comes with a rather nice pudgy style and a swivel base. This way you will be able to install it upright, perpendicular or upside down. It measures 8.24 cm x 5.65 cm x 5.05 cm and weighs 112 grams. Ideal for inserting it anywhere in your home in complete discretion. The novelty with this camera is that it allows to make Gateway. This will allow it to communicate directly with many devices such as door sensors, motion sensors, vibration sensors, connected locks and many more.
On its front panel the Xiaomi Aqara Smart Camera G2 has a 140° wide angle sensor capturing images in 1080p. In addition, there are eight infrared LEDs that capture images at night up to eight metres away. The manufacturer announces fluid movements managed by the AI, so in case of detected movements an alert will be sent directly to the camera owner. The Mi Home application already supports the camera since it appears in the recently updated listing. A new function is now available with this model. By pressing it it will be possible to record a 15 second video message and send it to your contacts. To store all this a MicroSd slot is present.
