Hello,
a few days ago i got a notification to update HyperOS from 1.0.32.0 UNCCNXM Stable to HyperOS from 1.0.35.0 UNCCNXM Stable.
I have the EEA (European) version.

When I firstly flashed the .EU rom i got a fastboot loop, which i could only solve via flashing TWRP and reflashing the rom again.
After that I had to reflash the MODEM.
And after root.

If we update the ROM to this newer 1.0.35.0 version ...
we must do it via fastboot, right? is the only way? Can we use TWRP (as i have done with my older Poco F2 pro several times)?
(im afraid to be forced to format DATA is fastboot loop)

I understand that modem will be flashed again with CN modem, so we need to flash the same MODEM.zip correct?
https://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/24-2-26.71621/post-719654

and finally re-root, this has been always like this.

Is this correct?
Has anyone in a similar situation already updated???

Thank you for Support!

1, You have a Xiaomi 14 (hooji) not a Xiaomi 14 Pro as you wrote in the thread title
2. You have to update via fastboot or in TWRP if you use OTG-USB (TWRP for model series 14 cannot decrypt(
3, You must repeat the "modem" repair after each ROM update

Coming back to this issue, with Xiaomi 14 ROM update could be done via TWRP or via fastboot. But "modem" repair should be done via fastboot (please correct me if I'm wrong).
Personally, I prefer update via TWRP (it's faster, because I don't need to unpack ZIP file). But in this way, I need also to use fastboot mode to repair "modem".
Could we have "modem" zip file to be flashed via TWRP? So that, the full update process (including "modem" repair) could be done via TWRP.
Thanks for your comment.

Did you read my link? You have a file there for TWRP as well. Tested and works.

The question is: is houji_modemfirmware.zip correctly modified to work under TWRP?
I don't know the file you are referring to. I have no idea who created it and if it is correct.
