Xiaomi 13 Ultra announced

Thank you for your time to test it, I will give it a try later and to see if I am the lucky one.
I tried to flash and factory reset again, but the result is the same.

The camera is still laggy and crash after shooting/deleting some pics. Maybe I am just not the lucky guy. :(

Is that mean I should perform following steps as solution? Thanks :)
1. Flash China rom by Miflash, finish phone setup
2. Flash EU rom with data format bat
3. Go to setting and factory reset again
This method working many years many generations.

Sorry for the late, I need to flash from CN to EU again to have these logs.

Here is the log file link : https://drive.google.com/file/d/1lLvEaNSiu1gD5dD0FwC75Xawj1E6HH6C/view?usp=sharing

The camera did become laggy and auto-rotation not working between my several reboots, but this time I don't have the camera crash. I don't know if this will help or not, but anyway I uploaded it. Hope it did help.

Thank you.

Mine also got few issues.

Flash from EEA rom to EU Dev Rom. Screen rotation will stop working after few hours. Reboot can solve this issue sometimes, but most of the time the screen will stop auto rotate. After flash to EU Dev Rom, I also restore to factory default after first setting up before apps installation.

Yesterday, I flashed it back to official CN rom, set it up and factory restore, then flash to EU weekly rom again, set it up and factory restore. The rotation issue gone since then to now. However, the microphone is not working during phone call and other apps can make a call.

I think I will go back to EEA rom and wait again for the EU rom.

Hi, I am interesting with EEA rom. Would you please to share what is working and what is not on EEA rom ?

Thanks.

Google Pay not working as expected. Camera photos will not have the White Leica water mark underneath. Phone and SMS apps will be the google one. Do not have much Themes as CN rom. Very clean android system on eea rom.

I don't really care about the google pay, but I really like the Leica water mark on the camera photos. So I think I'm fine to go back to EEA and wait for next EU rom.

Thank you for your reply, maybe it's good choice to go to the EEA rom.

I am wonder if the EEA will backup to google account, and restore to EU ?

If this is OK, and I think I am fined with EEA right now and waiting a stable version of EU.

I can't answer this question as I prefer re-install all apps I used, then transfer data between phones. I do not have backup in any cloud, like Google or Xiaomi. So I'm sure the issues I found in EU rom are not caused by data restore from cloud or old phones.

After 1 day on DEV, its way more stable than the STABLE release, not without its own problems though, the autorotate is a hit or miss but its way better than STABLE. Stability overall is very good.

Same here, pretty happy with beta so far.... I got neither issues with mic nor with auto rotation - strange enough ;)
Two rather minor things I noticed is that Android Auto connection is unstable and that apparently Google Dialer does not show an overlay over existing apps during call....

I have flash the new version with data format, and also do the factory reset, but the laggy camera and auto-rotation issue still be there.

And here is my log file for your reference, looking forward the next version, and thank you again for rapidly response.

I found a way to get phone working smoothly.
1. Flash the latest EU ROM
2. During the first phone setup DO NOT login google account and NO WiFi, NO NO just ignore all settings -> Reboot phone
3. If status pop up 13 Ultra setup and still ignore all -> Reboot phone
4. Click Play Store -> Login google account -> Update all applications (Google, Android Auto etc.) -> Reboot phone
5. Done

Hi,
First of all big thanks for working in this project and developing such an amazing solution for each Xiaomi phone.

I was testing all the xiaomi.eu versions posted until now for the Xiaomi 13U.
I tried different installation types, fastboot, recovery, wiping data, keeping data, formatting boot... I can discard the issues are related to any installations method cause i tried all in 2 different devices.
This is so far list of issues I found:
- Camera app freeze after rebooting phone 2-3 times
- System error in framework stops android UI and block the phone. Looks like this issue is related to rotation or compass (make sense based on what other people report)

My guessing is the error is between camera or compass maybe any other sensor that is affecting the android UI. But officially none of the xioami.eu roms is working fine right now (avoiding other people to try).

Any help i can provide to solve issues please let me know.
