Xiaomi 12S Ultra - Problems with gmail and Mail app

Hi all


I am on MIUI 13 stable (13.0.11) with my 12S Ultra.

Last week I noticed that my gmail is not syncing anymore in the Xiaomi mail app. All I tried did not work. So I made a factory reset.

Now I am not able to add my gmail account anymore in the Xiaomi mail app. After giving permission to the MiMail app in google I am asked to enter the Server configuration. No matter what I enter there... I always get errors back.

Does anyone else have similar problems?

Upgrade to MIUi 14 Thor. It's so much better than 13 in terms of stability and function...

What and where to set so that Gmail sends a notification when I receive an email.
Unfortunately, I only see it when I log in if I update it.
It doesn't come automatically.

Notifications are unreliable on Android 13 with MIUI 14. This is all we can set to work properly. - hold your finger on the app icon > click on app info - background autostart > enable - permissions > show on lock screen - notification > check settings - battery saver > No restrictions...
