Why Xiaomi 13 Pro not support USB Display port
Xiaomi 13 Pro Spec : USB Type-C 2.0, OTG Compait with Samung S10+ (Product on Year 2019 spec USB Type-C 3.1, OTG, DisplayPort )

While USB C DP/HDMI Alt Mode doesn't require USB 3.x, it is quite commonly known that most manufacturers won't implement the mode with USB 2.0. Instead, they opt for 3.x to have the feature for whatever reason. Any subsequent Xiaomi devices come with USB 3.x support which gives them this mode. Heck, even Xiaomi 13 Ultra which is the closest one to Xiaomi 13 Pro also has the feature. Xiaomi 13 Pro is just a little too early when released.

Apparently, Xiaomi couldn't figure out a way to keep 120w charging and usb 3.x at the same time. Hence, the 13 Pro doesn't have display out and the 13 Ultra does and is limited to 90w charging.

There's something weirdly cute about this. The same fate also applies to Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Ultra, yet Xiaomi 14 Pro, not released outside of China, retains both features. I suppose with the Ultra they might encounter problem with cooling due to sheer amount of space eaten by the cameras, but on the vanilla they do it for class differentiation.
