WANTED: Mi 8 pro / Mi 8 UD twrp


Hey bro, i'm trying to install twrp on my mi 8 pro (global, miui 11.0.9.0 with android 10), but after install twrp and reboot into recovery mode, my phone stuck on twrp screen. How did you install? Can you share with me the twrp img?

Were u using fastboot flash recovery to install it? Since I am using the twrp that .eu provided currently
 
Do you have the link to twrp that .eu provided? Where i can find it?

To install just need follow this steps:
- fastboot flash recovery <img>.img
- fastboot reboot + press volume up to go to recovery mode

I tried follow this steps, but i got stuck on twrp logo and don't show the recovery itself
 
Yes, my phone is unlock, i unlocked last friday. I will download it and try to install, thank you

I downloaded this twrp, followed the steps that i mentioned before and occurred the same, I got stuck on twrp image :/. After install, my phone went into recevery and reboot again into recovery, is it normal??
Something interested is that i entered into recovery mode, because i can see my device and reboot it from adb, but it's stuck look the image

Hi if you reboot your phone normal, you can press powerbutton for about 10s and then power on, what will happen?

If it reboots into system, power off. Then power on and press + at the same time. What will happen?

It will reboot into xiaomi recovery not the twrp recovery :(

And you have a MI8 Pro and used the TWRP_equuleus.zip from USB Drive or from HardDisk and it is not corrupted ?
  • if you flash your twrp please type as last command "fastboot reboot recovery" what will happen (not fastboot reboot) ?
  • if you type "fastboot reboot" then press volume up on the phone and "enter / return" on the PC at the same time

I'm giving up, my phone is weird hahahaha didn't work... I'm on windows through bootcamp and using usb-c<>usb-c cable, i don't think it's the problem

There must be something wrong in your steps. Are you sure you have a MI8 Pro UD?
You can check model code by command "fastboot getvar product" in Fastboot mode.

In the video I saw a lot of directories. Please try only one directory "hddc/adb". Put all the needed file in this directory.

OBS.: FACK, I'm really dumb, I download the recovery for android 9... (i will edit this reply)
I followed exactly what you said above and happened the same :/ got stuck on TWRP splash screen. I've already tried to boot into img directly, but happened the same.
