I am trying to unlock my MTK redmi note 3. I have done everything as instructed (I have unlocking permit), developer rom, logged into Mi account. Link to the unlocking app from the sms didn't work so I have found v1.1 somewhere else on the site. Now whatever I do I can't get the 'unlock' button active. The phone is in recovery mode and shows connected cable. I have mi pc suite (Chinese version) installed to have all the drivers and it works. Mi unlocker verifies my permit but but the button is always inactive. I have tried different ports and different cables. Nothing.
Anyone had a problem like this?
I am using windows 8.1, have only usb3.0 ports (but this shouldn't matter right?)
