Unplug phone a start it, and again only logo appears nothing else, I try flash it twice but no change. Please do you have some another tips how I can revive xiaomi?

You could try the official MiFlash to restore the Mi2(s) @ http://bigota.d.miui.com/MiFlash/MiFlashSetup_1.0.12.4120.exe

Run the software and connect your device, if the software detected your device there should be a green button. Click on it and the software will download and flash it back to factory state.

Hey, guy.
When you want to repair your bricked M2, you need to get the two test points and the battery holder negative to be short-circuit. It will force the low Level system work.
See the picture.

When exactly I short-circuit? nothing is connected or the usb is in ? How many times? How can we know that I short circuit ?

@Natane If you had read post #11 , you would know that these are already answered questions. Short circuit before connecting usb in until you see a QHSUSB_DLOAD hardware in device manager and when drivers are OK take off your bridge, put your battery in or leave as it is and finally flash a rom..

Hi mi mi3 is detected by miflash it says COM20 but when i try to flash it gives me error . I forgot the error. I flash the fastboot .tgz file extracted it and put it on my desktop.

Hi,

I had a crashed LCD and after replacing with a spare one, the phone (Mi2 32gb) cannot boot, only has black screen and weirdly I don't get any LED lights...

I installed the MiPhone_Assistant and MiFlash programs, and the Device Manager find the phone as Android Composite ADB Interface... Then in the MiFlash I could see the Devide id (d6d96590) and the Flash operation finished successfully (tried twice), BUT the phone still stuck at the black screen. Additionally, after the flash and reboot of phone (I only guess it is rebooted, as the screen is black always) the Device Manager recognised it as some device, but not a proper phone.

Where I fail with the process? Does the ADB interface driver cause this issue, and I need to 'short-circle' the phone to be able to flash QHSUSB_DLOAD drivers or there is other known workaround?

What is 'qhsusb_dolad' ?It is the situation when you can't boot into your phone,recovery mode and any other visible interface. When you connected your phone to the PC, the LED will flash and your PC will show that they were searching for the drivers needed(win7/8) but they couldn't find .......If it is commom for you to remove the battery when the phone did not shutdown completely or when you ran into 'No-Response' , as time goes by ,it will be inevitable that you come across the 'QHSUSB_DLOAD' situation .
But from now on ,you needn't worry about that for I have found a way out.
Tools needed:
Hardware: A PC running XP and higher (win7/8 recommended) and your usb cable
Software : MIflash and MIAssistent and a certain mi update rom(It is a *.exe file---fastboot file)
Steps :
1. Install the first two softwares described above(Run as administrator) in your PC (You need to disable the enforcement of digital signature while on win8 in the advanced startup (press 7 or F7)
2.Boot into fastboot mode(you just need to do with your two buttons and usually you cann't see the interface for your screen just won't show in this situation) before connecting to PC
3.Connect you MI2/S to your PC via the usb cable and the pc will recongnise it in the device manager panel(if not, update its driver in the unknown device---qhsusb_dload)
4.Open the miflash and click fresh to load your phone's serial number
5.Flash the update rom(the self-extracted-to folder) into your phone and reboot .

Explanations:
Miassistant contains the 'qhsusb_dload' driver for any phone and it enables the PC(Miflash) to recongnise your CPU serial which is the key part of updating by wire.

Tips:

Try this with your other phone, I believe it will work ,too.

Are you sure you can not boot your phone to fast boot mode? Press key"volume -" and power button at the same time.

When you connect your phone to your computer via usb port, can you find something called"unknown"on the Device Manager panel?

It's easy to save your dead phone with MiFlash. But I have to translate the Chinese guide to English...My god...

I suggest: First of all, connect your phone to your computer, and if the computer find new hardware"QHSUSB_DLOAD", install the driver, then open the MiFlash, and see whether there is device list on the panel, see the picture. If it is, you can flash it and save it.
If not, you should do the "short-circuit" ...

why do you want to do that? the software on your phone is fine - your lcd is either defective or connected incorrectly

Hello everyone, I have the same problem but with a REDMI NOTE, I watched the pictures to make the connection but the REDMI NOTES is different and near to the contacts of the SIM there are no points where to connect the forceps as images
I removed the back to see if I found them but I have not seen anything that looks like, I include photos of the cell opened, someone can tell me if it is possible to do the same procedure with the REDMI NOTE?

@kront75 If you can still enter the bootloader, you can try to press volup and voldown same time when powering on the phone.
If not it'll get complicated

mi2 is the only device with (known) test points. I guess ur mi4 is fully bricked now.

Hi guys,

I think i've a soft-bricket MI2S. I've some issues with reinstalling miui v6 after a tdb and now my phone can fastboot but can't enter in revocery and can't boot normally, it stops at miui logo.
Reading this topic i try first with miflash, but cell is not recognized like QHSUSB_DLOAD (I've tried with 3 pcs, win xp, win 7 and win 8.1) so i can't install Qhsusb Dload Driver found in a later post.
At this point i try to short circuit but my mi2s is not recognized anymore by PC, nothing appears like a new device.

It's fully bricked? Seem strange because i can put it in fastboot, can see mi logo e can turn on/off normally...
