twrp failed to make backup folder

i'm trying to backup my rom before installing a new update (android 10 to android 11) but twrp says that i need to enter a password first to backup my rom, i know that my password is also my phone's password but it doesn't work, any help?

Try to use pin, pattern, remove everything…
I dont know which phone, twrp and how do you have entered twrp

oh yea, im using RN8 also using pin, pattern, and removing every passcode doesn't work, i'm using the "reboot to recovery mode" instead of the "volume and power button thing" to enter twrp

Just use Orangefox, I have never had a problem backing up my devices via Recovery
