Hello to all forum members
After the latest firmware update my Mi Smart P1 43” LED 4K TV (l43m6-6aeu) randomly started displaying the following message:
HDMI connection lost
As I said, it's a random problem... The TV can be on for hours without any problem and sometimes, after an hour, the message appears (and, of course, there's no image or sound).
The solution is to turn it off and on again... and things go back to normal.
I've tried the obvious solutions... A new HDMI cable (of good quality). I've tried different HDMI connectors. I've tried a different video source.
The problem remains.
Any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks for your help

I hope Xiaomi read this post.
I think, by now, i have tried all possible different options for HDMI inputs.
Than you for your reply. It is good to know I'm not the only one with this problem.

Same on a 50". Since the last update this Saturday, a lot of lost ( no signal HDMI ). The signal are still present ( the sound work thought my sound bar in he same HDMI ( between tv and my Nvidia shield ) but, the signal was lost at the tv. I have to switch the input to an another HDMI ( input tv or HDMI 1 ) and come back to the HDMI ( HDMI 2 ) where my box is connected with the sound bar and the video signal work again. Try different mode HDMI Without success. How to downgrade the rom of the tv ?
Hope that Xiaomi will solve this issue..

I sent an email to Xiaomi Support.Global, and here is the answer:

Dear Vasco,
Hello, Greetings from Xiaomi Customer Support! This is Lydia.
We at Xiaomi value your trust and we apologize for the inconvenience. Rest assured that we'll assist you on this. And we would be grateful if you could share your country/region with us.
According to your description, please refer to the following troubleshooting steps:
1. Please connect a different device to the HDMI port to determine if the issue lies with the TV or the HDMI port.
2. Ensure that the HDMI cable is securely connected to both the TV and the device. Trying a different HDMI cable can also help rule out cable issues.
3. Turn off both the TV and the connected device, unplug the TV from the power source for a few minutes, then plug it back in and turn it on. Reboot the connected device as well.
4. Check the HDMI port on the TV for any physical damage or debris that might obstruct the connection.
5. If the above methods do not resolve the issue, consider resetting your TV to factory defaults by going to [Settings] > [Device Preferences] > [Reset]. Please note that this will erase all settings and data on your TV.
We hope the above information helps you.
Best Regards

It doesn't help much :-( because I've tried all the steps except number 5. And if I do that step, a lot of work will have to be done afterwards.
Maybe if more customers complain Xiaomi will take action.
