Is there any status on Nougat for Mi Mix? It's been quite a while now since release and I'm getting impatient. Went back to and iphone 7 just for actionable lock screen notifications.

Android 7 has little to none impact for MIUI system. If you have 6.0 then no need for 7.0. It brings mostly a version number change in about phone menu. Just use your phone normally.

Nougat brings actionable notifications, which believe it or not, are really useful. MIUI 7 is based on Android 6.

But you use MIUI. Those notifications are part of the system onscreen UI. And MIUI has its own engine here. Having MIUI based on Nougat does NOT bring all Android 7 advertised features. Only core is updated to latest API + some standard functions in Settings.

You can view notification actions with two fingers swipe over notification since MIUI v5...

Seems like the old devices are getting it before the new flagships... Doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Feels like the Mi Mix (the best device they've ever made) has been abandoned.

Is unbelievable having a great cpu, memory on this phone we get stuck in an old Android version, my Nexus 5 is running a latest Andorid version than miy Mix, I was happy to support Xiaomi with this devices (I also bought a Mi6 for my girlfriend) but now I'm startint to regreat it.
