Smartmi Electric Heater 1S region

Hello,
I bought a Smartmi Electric Heater 1S and I live in Portugal. 1st I put on the app country Portugal but the Heater doesn't appears no list.. Then I change to Chinese Mainland and works fine 4 or 5 days..
Now it appears that the region I chose is not supported temporarily.
What can I do? Tks

I've been using xiaomi devices for years on Chinese server, however I have no the same issue with my humidifier and smart heater. It shows temporary not supported... However none of the other regions do recognize them.

Today the heater upgrade the firmware but the problem continuous.
I hope they solve the issue soon

YEs, I've also updated the firmware, but no change, still does not work. On/Off works well in the home screen, plus automation works too

Exactly same issue here, I can't log into the device through mi home app, just power off and power on, but no change on humidity or any other option. I think last firmware upgrade has broken It.

Same here as described above... Worked for a little week, then unable login. Temporary unavailable in your country or region. All this on china server. All preprogrammed options I made still work, and problems were here already on the firmware last new, the new one did not broken it, not did it fix this problem. Xiaomi help!!!!

I already reset the router, reinstall the app, etc

Not solved yet on my side... I think we need Xiaomi firmware update to solve it

I had the same problem, and I temporary solved it by connecting the Heater to a Hotspot - the issue seems to be in the router settings, but I don't know which ones to change.

So what do I do now? Reset the heater?then make a guest network in my tplink router and also wpa2 protect it ( same protection method as my main wifi) and then it will connect? What is the difference here then from main wifi to guest? I'm curious to hear from you, thanks for reply.

I already solve the problem in the Xioami phone. I install the app VPN Master, uninstall the Mihome app.. And with the VPN Master connected downloaded and logon to mihome app (Mainland server)..after that i try to access the heater and works.. Now you can uninstall the VPN Master.

P. S only work on Xiaomi Redmi Note 7... On my Huawei P20 doesn't work..

Tried it on my realme x2 pro, can only say didn't work, i tried in vpn master a few countries like Singapore and hong kong, not working

What I did to test for a temp. solution I installed an older mi home version 5.7.5 after uninstalling the current version, and in there in china server logon i can access the settings again for this heater, so if you just need to setup some automations like I did, this is a temporary solution, i hope Xiaomi fixes it in a future mi home version

I’m also from Portugal and I’m facing the same problem.
I tried everything you guys suggested but the only possible workaround I think is installing an old version of the app.
Have you find another better solution?

I can confirm it works, installed this vevs before, but NOT the plugin, and now after extracting the plugin to the install folder location of com.xiaomin etc as explained in video it works and now able to access it again with this newest vevs xiaomi home versions! Good find!

Solution! Guys, it seems it has nothing to do with firmware. The change was done in the app. Until the mod app tackles this issue, I suggest to downgrade to the official app released in September 5.8.28
Everything works fine. You can also use the versions before.

I have tried to put it under homebridge but it does not work

I did the vevs plugin replace - and yes it works now under the latest vevs version too!

BUT: no automation works for me!!! (I have Qingping BLE/Wifi gateway and Qingping Temp $ RH Monitor M and Lite versions...)

Temp under set and send notification to phone - doesn't work
Temp under set and Smartmi 1S turn on - doesn't work either

What do you mean that you changed the plugin? How?
For me everything works with the older version of the app
