Smart Lock Does Not Work, Is There A Solution?

I searched the forums but have not found an existing thread.

I would love to use the "smart lock" but I can not make it work, is there a solution?

Try other ROMs, I'm sure it'll solve yours.

As Redmi Note 3 is considered new, there are some compatibile issues. For example, some ROMs have the Mi Drop feature while others even the official stable don't.

I don't use it but I've tested with the latest EU ROM v6.1.14. It simply works.

Try backup and do a 'clean' install. Probably, there's a conflicting app or you might be having hardware issue oon your device.

Clear! The screen appear, but really don't work! You lock manually and can't unlock without insert the security password
