Slow Motion Video Recording In Miui 6

hey everyone,

since i upgraded to miui 6 months ago, i havent been able to find any settings to allow slow motion video. my mi2s only shoes fast motion, which is basically just sped up video. a bit opposite of slow motion. i tried switching between full hd, hd, and sd, but no other video options get exposed. fwiw, it seemed to work properly in miui v5.

is there another camera app that anyone can recommend that allows slow motion video recording? i'm running smiui v6 build 5.3.27 fwiw.

Ported stock V5 camera app from M1cha. Working on CM12.1.

No driver support in MIUI v6 for mi2s to do slow motion video recording? I guess the same for HDR video too? That blows huge chunks! CM12.x doesn't seem stable enough for use as a daily driver, anyone have a suggestion for a more stable daily ROM? CM11? I'd prefer not to downgrade to MIUI v5... ugh!

Would be nice if the v5 camera worked in v6

As I already said, try ported one from M1cha.

Did you think this one? Or am I wrong...??

So installation on Ivan's AOSP 5.1.1 was OK. Taking pictures and recording also. But recording in SlowMotion didnt work :/

Any ideas?

I'll say again ... There are no drivers for the 4.4 / 5.x.x , so do not work all functions of the camera from 4.1 JB.

I'm on CM11 and it has never worked, with 13Mpx camera. And I've recently tested on Aosp 5.1 and it doesn't work too

If it works for you, then you have something different. It may be the camera sensor module, or the camera apk

The FPS rate is a complicated thing because these settings are stored in libchromatix files which contain 62K C struct data each and u have no idea which offset contains which value.

Hmm, I don't think mi2raw works in MIUI/sMIUI v6 either, unless something has changed recently? I'll look into those other ROMs, I really miss proper camera/video functionality in my mi2s

SlowMotion with ported Miui camera app not working on MoKee 4.4.4 and 5.1.1 and even CM11...
Actually it is FastMotion video
I don`t know when did you tried it, but for me with mi2s 8mpx camera it`s not working on these roms.
