Root On Redmi 4 Pro Interferes With Usb Mtp Connection

It was fine and worked good after executing buid.prop addition as @blackbile advice .
But I just noticed that it does not connect OTG/MTP again (meaning a few days later).
I verified the added lines are still within the build.prop file..
What is the problem?

I found a cure! Just flash THIS via TWRP and and the MTP should work again.

Thanks, I flashed it but, unfortunatelly, it did not work with my redmi 4/Prime and eu 8.2.1.0 rom..

Solved by returning to the original built.prop and cancelling root..

On Redmi 4A the same story too.

After unroot from SuperSU the MTP connection is OK.
Again rooted with SuperSU NO mtp connection.

*************UPDATE************

I wrote in the /system/build.prop

persist.service.adb.enable=1
persist.service.debuggable=1
persist.sys.usb.config=mtp,adb

Rebooted my phone.

And it is working now with SuperSU - I can connect to my PC.

On Redmi 4X the same story too.

Would the right procedure be:
- flash the superuser with twrp
- start the phone
- install the superuser app from the play store

And that is it?

you can uninstall supersu from supersu app settings named "FULL UNROOT"

There is a settings in TWRP, which is disable root access check in boot.(I can't remember exact name) After disable it, MTP should work fine. I also added build.prop lines to the system. Try it and tell here the results. I tried and now connecting my device. I rebooted 5-6 times and MTP is working.

Hi, I installed superuser.zip with TWRP, did not get any superuser app visible on phone after reboot, installed from market more then one available superuser apps, all not working, phone not rooted. I finally installed the previous installed supersu 2.79. Now it works but i don't know for how long, till now (one reboot) it works

I have a similar problem but mine started after using the USB Thetering option and after that my PC does not recognize MTP
