Rom Stable For Mi5x

Guys, any available stable rom for MI5X under MIUI 9 version yet?
I am awaiting for my MI5x arrival (should be with MIUI9 but China version) I can't understand those Chinese wordings and I wanna have a clean (without China bloatware). Is there any available Global version yet from eu?
Appreciate if there is any news on the development for this rom version. Thanks.

OMG! it came with MIUI 8 China stable rom - full of bloatware, installed google apk, running but lots of FC issues..sigh!

LOL, FC as in force close. Language in English, but alot of bloatware in Chinese (you cannot delete the apps)
Anyway will try to flash latest rom available China stable 8.5.8.0

Thanks, may I know is it good for daily usage? This 7.8.10 is it base on MIUI 9?
Hoping for a stable but as you have said there isn't any yet.

anybody unlocked bootloader for mi5x? i cannot, when add account to device, it is 10008 API error, can do nothing at all firmwares versions

I get that error too..I've read sth about using Shanghai vpn for that error but can't find an apk that has a Shanghai server available.

we have only 2 firmwares which can install with locked boot:
miui 8 stable
miui 9 developer

i tried both and few mi accounts with unlock permission.
Mi unlock go to 99% and says need add account and device.
i try do it and have errror 10008 api

I have flash 2 rom into my 5x phone but phone cannot normal boot , my phone Stand on the logo "MI" cannot boot into OS , I flash 2 rom with "MIFLASH TOOL "

The latest China stable (8.5.8.0 NDBCNED) seems to be much better, so far so good haven't experience any FC issues (force close).

I spent whole Sunday afternoon to unlock bootloader but didn't succeed.
I installed VPN Turbo and selected China site but still got 10008 error.
I could not bind account and device together.
I sold my new Mi5X this morning to a guy who is sure that he can unlock.
Very disappointed.

You need some time to unbind (72 hrs), and use vpn select china region.
Continue trying for a few times (thats what I did & it succeed at last)

Anyway before I sold my Mi5X, I took some pictures compare to my Mi5S, the result is good.
Dual camera of Mi5X works well.
If the unlocking is easier, I might buy it again.

Hello everybody.
I am looking for a smartphone that will not leave me broke but still be able to enjoy
facebook, messenger, whatapp and the occasional web browsing.
Now, i leave in Romania and i can`t trust on the warranty that comes with the phone
because there is nobody that will service my phone based on the warranty. That`s just the
things are here. This is another reason why i don`t want to invest too much on a smartphone.

I want to ask you, good people, if i were to purchase this phone, will it start to give me FC`s and
black screen and stuff like that?
I also want to mention that i`m not to familiar with bootloader, fastboot, vpn and stuff like that.
Basically i want to buy this phone and use it as it is ...
Or if i must get rid of that bloatware (the Chinese apps) i would ask if there is a simple way of getting
rid of them or maybe i should wait for a global version.

Worked for me

Unlocked a mi5x yesterday with this solution.
Works great, the only thing was to request permission in developer options a few times, after 4 or 5 fails it says succesful and then i was able to unlock the bootloader.

Maybe there is a hungarian language support in the custom rom of ********.com. I will check it.
