You cannot compare any MIUI with CM. MIUI has always been a lil "slower" than CM, thats the bad thing in having such a great UI and all the beautiful stuff :/
Cyanogen Mod - another ROM
Did you perform full wipe before install ? Im currently using 5.11.28 as daily and have no problems at all ?! I flashed over latest 4.11.21.

On the latest release something isn't translated in italian. For exalmple the File Manager and Kuaipan. http://miui.it is the italian translation site and its ROMs have kuaipan, then you can update the italian translations

Clock is fine. Also alarm tone can be selected without any FCs

Both 4.11.28 and 5.11.28 working fine here.
First installed 4.11.28 and did a nandroid backup from cwm, restored to sys2 and flashed 5.11.28 over it. Antutu score from 5.11.28.

Im completing german language for 5.11.28 by myself but I cant do that for other languages..
If you think they are not good enough or incomplete, please send me a link to a MIUI v6 translation repository and I will add it !

Last two 4.X versions made me sad because phone discharged very fast, faster then before.
And please fix time problem: I set Minsk time zone (+3) every time but it's changing back to +1 after reboot automatically. I don't reboot very often but it's very uncomfortable anyway.
And BTW I live in Moscow time zone, it changed some time ago to GMT+3, but sMIUI like many other Roms still thinks that Moscow is +4.

Well, I can confirm it too. I'm on 4.11.21 and after a reboot my timezone was changing to +1, exactly like Geffest reported. I'm using Brasilia GMT -3. However, after I disabled "Automatic date & time" this was fixed.
And on 4.11.28 I'm getting FC when opening the clock.
Use Russian. This is the best translation for all time. FC - no.

I can confirm too. Each reboot, the timezone always reset to gmt +1..so everytime i reboot i have to set it manually back
Not sure about the battery. I thought so (three versions back okay) that is is less than before. But I am so not consistent in my phone use, it's hard to tell.

Sorry, no FC when openin clock or changing alarm tone in my 4.11.28
Even when I travelled -2 GMT I didn't have timezone issues (the clock changed when I arrived at the location, and it changed back when I came back), mine is set to automatic date&time, and thus it is working for me. But maybe you're using a different time zone than it had to be used in your area, and thus the phone tries to recover that clock again and again...
